* In Bat Xat commune
On the morning of October 10, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bat Xat commune organized a campaign to support the people of Lao Cai province to overcome the damage caused by storm No. 10.

In Bat Xat commune, storm No. 10 damaged 313 houses and nearly 189 hectares of crops; total damage was about 18.2 billion VND.
In the spirit of "mutual love", the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bat Xat commune has launched a campaign for each cadre, civil servant, public employee, and soldier of the armed forces to donate at least one day's salary; workers one day's income; households with average living standards or higher to donate at least 50,000 VND; agencies, organizations, and businesses to contribute according to their voluntary spirit and capabilities.
Immediately after the call, many agencies, units, businesses and individuals directly registered and supported with donations of over 250 million VND.


The Bat Xat Commune Relief Mobilization Committee still receives support from agencies, units, organizations, and philanthropists and commits that all mobilized funds will be managed and used for the right purposes, publicly and transparently, ensuring effectiveness in supporting and helping people overcome the consequences of natural disasters.
* At Trung Tam ward
On October 10, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Trung Tam Ward organized a launching ceremony to support the people of Lao Cai province to overcome the consequences of storm No. 10 (Bualoi).
At the launching ceremony, the ward Fatherland Front called on cadres, party members, armed forces, businesses, agencies, units and people in the area to promote the tradition of "Mutual love", join hands to support people in flood-hit areas to overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.

At the launching ceremony, Trung Tam Ward received more than 50 million VND. The entire amount will be transferred to the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to promptly support people in affected areas to soon stabilize their lives.
Currently, Party cells, residential groups, schools and organizations in the ward are continuing to mobilize union members, association members and people to join hands to donate food, groceries and necessities to people in flood-affected areas. From October 8 to 10 alone, volunteer organizations in Trung Tam ward wrapped thousands of banh chung and sent hundreds of boxes of water, cakes, instant noodles, rice, etc. to people in flood-affected areas.
* In Ta Phin commune
Responding to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lao Cai province, on the morning of October 10, the Fatherland Front Committee of Ta Phin commune organized a launching ceremony to support people to overcome the damage caused by storm No. 10.


At the launching ceremony, many agencies, units, organizations and individuals participated in donating nearly 70 million VND. The entire amount will be transferred to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province to promptly support localities severely affected by natural disasters.
The joint contributions of the commune's cadres and people demonstrate the noble gesture of "helping each other", helping people quickly overcome the damage caused by floods and gradually stabilize their lives.
* In Duong Quy commune
On October 9, the “Pink Heart of Lao Cai - Hanoi ” Club came to give gifts to the people of Nam Mien and Tham Con villages, Duong Quy commune. These are the villages heavily affected by storm No. 10.

Club members went to the villages to give gifts of necessities to the people of the two villages, including 200 boxes of instant noodles, 1,000 eggs, 15 boxes of candy, 200 kg of vegetables, 75 light bulbs, 900 kg of rice, more than 500 packages of salt, seasoning powder, soap, and hundreds of sets of clothes and blankets.
Total value of nearly 60 million VND.

Nam Mien and Tham Con villages have a total of 149 households, 100% of which were affected by storm No. 10, including 6 households whose houses were completely damaged by floods and landslides.
The villagers received timely support from the local government and many organizations and benefactors inside and outside the area to relocate their assets, find temporary housing, and provide necessities so that no one would go hungry or cold.
Due to the impact of storm No. 10, Duong Quy commune suffered great damage to people's houses, properties and crops; estimated damage of over 50 billion VND. With the joint help of the whole society, by October 9, Duong Quy commune had received support and sponsorship from 16 organizations and individuals, with a total cost of over 131 million VND, thousands of gifts, nearly 3 tons of rice and many other necessities.
