At Vingroup, Mr. Vuong holds nearly 390 million VIC shares, equivalent to 10.04% of capital.
Billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong's assets are now larger than the combined assets of the nine richest people on the Vietnamese stock market. This is the 16th consecutive year that the Vingroup chairman has topped this list.
According to Forbes update , as of October 10, Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong has assets of 18.1 billion USD, ranked 131st in the list of world billionaires. Mr. Vuong's assets are even larger than Samsung Chairman Lee Jae-yong, Thai billionaire Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi - Chairman of TCC Group, Telegram founder billionaire Pavel Durov.

According to Forbes ' ranking , Hoa Phat Chairman has assets of up to 3 billion USD, ranked 1343rd in the list of world billionaires as of October 10.
Mr. Long is known as the “steel king” of Vietnam when Hoa Phat has always maintained the No. 1 position in the Vietnamese steel industry. In the next position is Ms. Pham Thuy Hang - Vice Chairwoman of Vingroup Board of Directors (sister of Ms. Pham Thu Huong) with a large asset of nearly 22,000 billion VND. Ms. Hang owns more than 114 million VIC shares, equivalent to 2.94% of capital.
The 9th richest person on the Vietnamese stock market is Ms. Vu Thi Hien (wife of Mr. Tran Dinh Long) with nearly 16,000 billion VND.

At the end of the trading session on October 10, the VN-Index increased by more than 31 points, reaching a new peak of 1,747 points. Total market liquidity reached nearly VND33,941 billion.
Securities experts believe that the VN-Index has likely entered the initial stage of a new uptrend and is expected to continue expanding its upward momentum, heading towards the psychological resistance level of 1,800 points in the near future.
