Mission to connect Swiss businesses with Vietnamese localities

In his welcoming speech to the delegation, Dr. Philipp Rösler - Chairman of SVEF said that businesses in Switzerland in particular and Europe in general highly appreciate the current potential of Vietnam, the achievements that Vietnam has achieved as well as the development plans of Vietnam in the coming time. According to him, Vietnam is facing great opportunities in potential fields, which can create new impulses to promote businesses of both sides to establish and become partners in key fields.

In an interview with a VNA reporter in Switzerland, Dr. Philipp Rösler said that this seminar opens up opportunities for Swiss businesses to have more information about the Vietnamese market in the new context so that they can take advantage of the opportunities in all areas where Switzerland has strengths. Dr. Rösler hopes that this working session, as well as the upcoming activities of SVEF in Da Nang, will help further promote the economic relationship between Switzerland and Vietnam, in which Swiss businesses are very interested in localities with great potential such as Khanh Hoa.

Sharing the same view with Dr. Philipp Rösler, SVEF Vice President Ivo Sieber shared about the possibility of the two countries further strengthening cooperation through the activities of Vietnamese delegations. He said that in recent times, Swiss enterprises have always highly appreciated Vietnam's development process in the regional economy, considering the current time as an opportunity for Swiss and European enterprises and corporations to promote market penetration and thereby expand business activities and connections in the Asia- Pacific region - an area that continues to be assessed as having a lot of potential in the coming time. In particular, Khanh Hoa province can learn more about Switzerland's strengths in areas such as banking and finance, pharmaceuticals or digital transformation, and vice versa, the Swiss side is also very interested in tourism cooperation projects that can further promote the relationship between the two countries in the future.

For his part, Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, expressed his thanks for the support of the Vietnamese Embassy in Switzerland for the delegation's activities, as well as requested SVEF to connect Swiss businesses to Khanh Hoa to survey and seek cooperation opportunities.

Also within the framework of the discussion, representatives of SIX, JANZZ.Technoly, Health Tech Fund and the Swiss-Asian Chamber of Commerce (SACC) shared about their activities and expressed their desire to seek opportunities for extensive cooperation with Khanh Hoa province in the coming time.
