Through the event, the provincial tourism industry sent the message to international tourists that Khanh Hoa is always a friendly and hospitable destination and hopes that tourists will prioritize choosing the locality as a tourist destination to experience in the future.
In addition, the event creates connections between agencies, airlines, and tourism businesses in the province, aiming to make Khanh Hoa tourism one of the top destinations on the Southeast Asian tourism map.

Before Nordwind, airlines such as Azur Air, Aeroflot, Ikar Airlines, IrAero Airlines, Red Wings of Russia and Vietjet Air of Vietnam have resumed flights from Russia to Cam Ranh. Up to now, there are more than 30 flights/week from major cities of Russia to Khanh Hoa.
Mr. Cung Quynh Anh - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa province, shared: Russian tourists are a very important international tourist market for Khanh Hoa tourism. The fact that airlines are bringing Russian tourists back to Cam Ranh after a 5-year hiatus is a positive sign.
The tourism industry has stepped up promotion, innovated tourism products, and increased human resource training to serve Russian tourists.
In the first 8 months of 2025, Khanh Hoa welcomed 279,000 Russian visitors, an increase of 294.9% over the same period in 2024. It is expected that from now until the end of the year, the number of Russian visitors will reach, or even exceed, the 2019 mark.
