AgriS Ninh Hoa increases support for farmers in the 2025 - 2026 crop year

KHANH HOA AgriS Ninh Hoa implements many support policies from land preparation, seeds, fertilizers to sugarcane price insurance, helping farmers feel secure in production in the 2025 - 2026 crop year.

On the morning of November 15, in Tay Ninh Hoa commune ( Khanh Hoa ), AgriS Ninh Hoa Import-Export Joint Stock Company (AgriS Ninh Hoa) organized a customer conference for the 2025-2026 crop year, attracting more than 200 delegates who are partners and sugarcane growing customers to attend.

According to AgriS Ninh Hoa, although the sugar industry continues to face many challenges in the 2024-2025 crop year, the Company will continue to maintain a stable raw material area, gradually affirming its central role in developing the local agricultural economy .

In the 2024 - 2025 crop year, the Company's total raw sugarcane area will reach 9,167 hectares, with an average yield of 62.7 tons/hectare and a sugar content of 9.6 CCS. The sugarcane output will be nearly 600,000 tons of clean sugarcane, reaching 103.5% of the plan and exceeding 10.7% over the same period. These figures demonstrate the strong efforts of both businesses and farmers to improve the quality of raw material areas.

Ms. Vo Thi Thuy Tien, Director of AgriS Ninh Hoa Company, said that preparations for the 2025-2026 harvest are being urgently and synchronously deployed by the unit, from checking the intra-field traffic system, planning harvest and transportation, to maintaining the equipment line to ensure sugarcane pressing activities take place safely, effectively and on schedule.

In the 2025 - 2026 crop year, the Company plans to harvest 10,653 hectares of sugarcane, with an average yield of about 63.28 tons/ha, and a total output of 650,000 tons of clean sugarcane. Of which, the area is concentrated in Ninh Hoa with 4,075 hectares, with an output of about 216,000 tons, and Dak Lak with 6,367 hectares, with an output of about 423,423 tons.

“The company aims to maintain and develop a stable raw material area concentrated in Khanh Hoa and Dak Lak by 2030 with a total area of ​​11,580 hectares, a stable productivity growth of 65 tons/ha, and a total sugarcane output of more than 700,000 tons,” said Ms. Vo Thi Thuy Tien.

To realize this goal, the Company will synchronously implement groups of solutions such as: Applying digital technology in investment management, harvesting, providing new sugarcane varieties for high yield and good quality; promoting automatic mechanization in land preparation, planting, care and harvesting of sugarcane to help reduce costs and increase income for sugarcane growers.

At the same time, AgriS Ninh Hoa has implemented many investment policies to support farmers in the 2025 - 2026 crop year. Specifically, the Company will provide a maximum capital of 5.2 million VND/ha for land preparation; provide standard seeds with an investment of up to 12 million VND/ha to ensure the germination rate and quality of seedlings. Farmers can choose two planting methods: planting by machine or manual row-rowing, with an investment of 4 million VND/ha.

For hilly areas or rocky areas where mechanization is not possible, the Company disburses capital of 12 million VND/ha, of which a subsidy of 7 million VND/ha is provided so that people can apply the method of digging trenches to plant sugarcane - suitable to the actual conditions in the locality. In addition, the Company also invests in fertilizers, pesticides, and care at a rate of 34.1 million VND/ha; supports the cost of field sanitation and replanting of 2 million VND/ha for the original sugarcane area.

Support activities also include investment in infrastructure, agricultural machinery and equipment and field improvement, helping to improve productivity and farming efficiency. These are considered “leverage” policies, creating conditions for sugarcane growers to feel secure in sticking with sugarcane for the long term.

“In particular, to help farmers feel secure in production, increase productivity and annual sugarcane output, the Company will insure the minimum sugarcane purchase price of VND 1 million/ton of sugarcane with 10 CCS on the truck at the field (including subsidies) for 3 harvests from 2026-2027 to 2028-2029,” Ms. Vo Thi Thuy Tien emphasized.
