(Chinhphu.vn) – On the afternoon of November 15, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc received Mr. Duong Ve Dong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hoa Thiet Group (China), along with leaders of the Jiangsu Business Association in Beijing and leaders of several enterprises and investment funds under the Association.

Hua Tie Design Group was founded in 1960, formerly Jiangsu Provincial Traffic Planning Design Institute; is a large-scale private design group in China with nearly 7,000 employees worldwide , ranked 3rd in the "Top 100 Strongest Enterprises in the National Design Survey Industry" and 49th in the "Top 150 Best Engineering Design Companies in the World".

Hoa Thiet Group's main products and services include: Planning consultancy, survey and design, testing.

Expressing his pleasure at receiving Mr. Duong Ve Dong, Chairman of Hoa Thiet Group, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc said that Vietnam is promoting breakthrough development solutions based on science, technology, high technology, innovation and digital transformation to bring the country's economy to new heights.

Sharing about Vietnam's economic situation, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc said that this year's GDP growth is about 8.3%, budget revenue is about 100 billion USD; import-export turnover is about 911 billion USD; inflation is about 3.6%...

Currently, Vietnam is focusing on promoting infrastructure development, building large airports and seaports, and developing a modern highway system. This year, about 3,000 km of highways will be completed; phase 1 of Long Thanh Airport (the 6th largest airport in the world) and modern international seaports. At the end of this year, Vietnam will start a high-speed railway project connecting Chinese localities to Hai Phong city; preparing to start construction of the North-South high-speed railway...

Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc hopes that Hoa Thiet Group and Jiangsu enterprises will learn and continue to expand effective investment in Vietnam.

Emphasizing that Hoa Thiet Group is not only a large Chinese enterprise but also has achieved many successes in the international market, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc hopes that Hoa Thiet Group and Jiangsu enterprises will learn and continue to effectively expand investment in Vietnam.

At the meeting, Mr. Duong Ve Dong said that recently, his Hoa Thiet Group has discussed and cooperated with Vietnam's Deo Ca Group to conduct research on the Red River Boulevard and Landscape Project; Lang Son - Cao Bang - Bac Can Expressway Project, North - South Eastern Expressway Project Phase 2... establishing a partnership with Deo Ca Group in the fields of infrastructure, technology innovation and project management (technology transfer; management of expressways based on digital platforms, AI application in construction, design, operation); signed an agreement to become a strategic shareholder of 2AZ Construction Consulting Joint Stock Company.

The Chairman of Hoa Thiet Group expressed his belief that with the process of cooperation in technology transfer and training of high-quality human resources, Hoa Thiet's advanced technologies will soon be deployed and effectively applied in Vietnam.

Mr. Duong Ve Dong and leaders of Jiangsu Business Association in Beijing highly appreciated Vietnam's economic development potential, believing that Vietnam and China have a lot of space for cooperation and development in the above fields; hoping that 1,500 enterprises in Jiangsu Chamber of Commerce will find opportunities for cooperation in investment, production, business, trade and contribute to Vietnam's economic development in the coming time.

Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc welcomed Hoa Thiet Group and Deo Ca Group of Vietnam for their cooperation in training high-quality human resources, designing, transferring technology, constructing, and applying AI in managing and operating road and bridge systems.

The Deputy Prime Minister said that Vietnam's terrain is mountainous and forested, divided by many streams, rivers, and ravines; the climate often experiences storms, floods, and inundation... To prevent landslides caused by storms, floods, and to save transportation costs, roads must go straight, and when encountering mountains, they must cross mountains, when encountering passes, they must cross passes, and when crossing rivers, streams, and ravines, bridges must be built.

Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc affirmed: The Vietnamese Government creates a favorable environment for businesses from all countries, including Chinese businesses, to invest and do business in Vietnam, ensuring compliance with the laws of both countries and international law.

Emphasizing that Chinese enterprises have advanced science and technology, modern machinery and equipment and experience in the field of designing and constructing tunnels, bridges, high-rise buildings, etc., the Deputy Prime Minister suggested that Hoa Thiet Group and enterprises in the Jiangsu Association cooperate with Vietnamese enterprises, deploy applications and transfer the latest and most advanced technologies, thereby creating higher labor productivity and more long-term and sustainable cooperation.

Reporting to Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc on the achievements Hoa Thiet Group has made in applying the most advanced techniques and technology to design and construct large tunnels through rivers and mountains; and build large bridges in China, Mr. Duong Ve Dong affirmed that he is ready to cooperate and transfer the best technology and techniques with Vietnamese enterprises in this field for sustainable development.
