Department of Industry and Trade works with a number of export enterprises: Recognizing efforts, listening to recommendations

On November 13, the working delegation of the Department of Industry and Trade led by Mr. Pham Van Tho, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, visited and worked with a number of export enterprises in the province to grasp the production and business situation, promptly remove difficulties and obstacles for enterprises.

These are typical enterprises in the field of industrial production, making great contributions to export turnover and creating jobs for tens of thousands of workers in the province.

According to reports from businesses, despite facing many difficulties and challenges, production and business activities at businesses still maintained stable growth, from 20 - 30% compared to the same period last year. Ensuring average income for workers from 10 - 12 million VND/person/month...

At the meeting, businesses shared difficulties related to labor shortages, especially high-quality labor; high logistics costs, input costs of raw materials and accessories; and degraded traffic infrastructure in some locations in the industrial park.

Enterprises also proposed that the Department of Industry and Trade continue to promote trade promotion activities to give enterprises the opportunity to expand export markets; support enterprises in implementing green transformation and sustainable development programs; strengthen training support programs, improve the quality of human resources, etc.

Since the beginning of the year, total revenue of TNG Investment & Trading Joint Stock Company has reached 7,595 billion VND, an increase of 11% over the same period.

The delegation acknowledged and highly appreciated the results that the enterprises have achieved, along with solutions to ensure stable production and business activities, care for the material and spiritual life of workers as well as fulfill their obligations to pay the State budget. The delegation requested that enterprises continue to innovate technology to improve operational efficiency, contributing positively to the overall socio -economic development of the province.

Regarding proposals and recommendations from businesses, the Department of Industry and Trade will study to support and promptly remove difficulties for businesses; at the same time, report to the Provincial People's Committee on issues beyond its authority to create the most favorable conditions for businesses to develop sustainably.
