For many years, the family of Ms. Trieu Thi Thu, in Ban Pho village, Tan Ky commune, has participated in the chili export cultivation linkage model implemented by Tien Phat Agricultural Import-Export Company Limited in coordination with the local government. Thanks to support with seeds, materials, fertilizers and product consumption, her family has a stable source of income, minimizing risks in production.
Ms. Trieu Thi Thu shared: My family has participated in the chili growing project under the production linkage model for 10 years. This crop has high economic value, is suitable for the local climate and soil, and has guaranteed product consumption, so we are confident in converting the ineffective rice growing area to chili growing.
Currently, Tan Ky commune is implementing a model of linking chili cultivation for export on an area of about 6 hectares. Each crop, businesses purchase products at prices ranging from 14,000 to 30,000 VND/kg, depending on quality and time. Thanks to stable output, people are confident in investing, productivity is high, and average income from chili cultivation far exceeds that from rice cultivation and traditional crops.

Mr. Le Van Khiem, Director of Tien Phat Agricultural Import-Export Company Limited, said: Currently, we are implementing production linkages with people in many localities in the province.
Specifically, the company cooperated to grow 3 hectares of sweet corn in Lam Vy commune, more than 12 hectares of chili in Tan Ky, Thanh Mai, Thanh Thinh and Phuong Tien communes. This entire area is supported with seeds, materials and output products are guaranteed at agreed prices. The association helps people feel secure in production, while businesses can proactively source quality raw materials to meet export needs.
Along with the chili export linkage model, Tan Ky commune also cooperates with enterprises to develop concentrated apricot and potato production areas. The locality currently has more than 300 hectares of apricot trees in the direction of linkage with enterprises and cooperatives, with an output of about 1,000 tons/year and an economic value of about 10 billion VND. This helps to form an agricultural value chain and improve economic efficiency for growers.
Mr. Diep Van Nam, Chairman of Tan Ky Commune People's Committee, said: Through signing a contract, people can confidently invest, expand the area and apply technical measures to improve productivity and quality of agricultural products. This is a sustainable direction, creating stable output, increasing economic value per unit area, and increasing income for farmers.

As the main tea growing area of Thai Nguyen province, La Bang commune is promoting linkages in production and consumption. Instead of small-scale production, the locality focuses on developing cooperative models, connecting farmers with businesses to create sustainable value chains. This is a key solution to improve quality, affirm the brand of specialty tea and expand consumption markets, aiming for export.
Mr. Trinh Van Hoi's family in Cau Da hamlet, La Bang commune, currently cultivates about 4,000 square meters of tea. Thanks to the correct application of technical processes and organic care, the family's tea plantation always grows well, providing consistent quality buds and stable productivity. For many years, Mr. Hoi has cooperated with the local tea cooperative to purchase fresh tea buds for centralized processing. Each main harvest, his family supplies about 1 ton of fresh raw tea to the cooperative.
Mr. Trinh Van Hoi shared: Since joining the cooperative, my family no longer worries about product output. Fresh tea buds are purchased stably at reasonable prices, helping us feel secure in investing in care. The association also helps people improve farming techniques, maintain tea quality and have a more stable income.
La Bang commune currently has more than 1,135 hectares of tea, with an average yield of about 138 quintals/hectare. The locality encourages the development of cooperatives, linking with growers to expand raw material areas and product consumption. Many cooperatives have switched to organic production, consuming products for deep processing, helping to increase the value of tea trees in the market, creating jobs and increasing income for cooperative members and associated households.

Stable consumption helps people feel secure in farming, while the Cooperative proactively sources raw materials for processing.
According to the plan, by 2030, La Bang commune strives to achieve more than 16,000 tons of fresh tea buds, with an average product value of 680 million VND/ha. The locality aims to develop safe and sustainable tea trees with 70% of the area certified as VietGAP or organic, 70% of the area granted a growing area code, while simultaneously combining with local tourism development.
Mr. Duong Van Vuong, Vice Chairman of La Bang Commune People's Committee, said: In the near future, the commune will focus on planning tea areas associated with investing in transportation and irrigation systems, facilitating irrigation, transportation and consumption of products. At the same time, the locality will continue to build favorable policies and mechanisms to attract businesses and cooperatives to participate in production linkages, consumption and deep processing, in order to increase the value and build a sustainable tea brand.
