Hanh Le mulberry cooperative in Truc Dinh village, Tran Yen commune was established in 2023, with 56 households associated with growing mulberry and raising silkworms, the total mulberry area is 30 hectares, with a scale of 500 baskets/batch, cocoon output reaching over 60 tons/year, bringing a stable income for each member from 200 - 300 million VND/year.
Hanh Le Cooperative is aiming to raise silkworms in cold houses to increase productivity and quality of silkworm cocoons.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Le - Director of Hanh Le Mulberry Cooperative shared: "This achievement is thanks to the cooperative members participating in training courses on planting and caring for mulberry and silkworms organized by the Commune Farmers' Association. Especially after the natural disaster, we were supported with mulberry seedlings and loans to quickly restore production."
Currently, Tran Yen commune has formed many production areas: mulberry growing and silkworm raising over 712 hectares, cinnamon area over 6,000 hectares, fruit tree area nearly 252 hectares, tea area nearly 46 hectares, medicinal plant area nearly 56 hectares...
Accompanying the members, since the beginning of the year, the Commune Farmers' Association has organized 5 training courses on transferring science and technology, and providing advice on safe and effective production. The management of loans and the recovery of loans from the Farmers' Support Fund have been carried out in accordance with the correct procedures and regulations, ensuring safety and increasingly effective and practical use with 5 projects, 23 borrowers, and a total outstanding debt of 1.6 billion VND.
"The Commune Farmers' Association also coordinated with banks and credit institutions to support 957 farming households to borrow more than 48.5 billion VND to invest in production, business, and family economic development," said Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Nga, Chairwoman of the Tran Yen Commune Farmers' Association.
Not only in Tran Yen, recently, in remote communes such as Lao Chai, Tram Tau, Son Luong, Ban Ho, Ta Phin, Sin Cheng... the association's branches have coordinated with departments, branches, and organizations to organize training courses, transfer science and technology, and digital transformation for farmer members. The training content is about guiding the construction of suitable agro-forestry models, building brands and trademarks for agricultural products.

After attending training courses organized by the Commune Farmers' Association, Mr. Giang A Sau, Sai Luong village, Son Luong commune, gained knowledge about techniques and experience in planting, caring for, and intensively cultivating cinnamon. From a poor household, his family rose to become a rich household in the locality.
“Thanks to being equipped with knowledge, I know how to choose good cinnamon seeds to sow and grow in my home garden. Currently, my family has 30 hectares of cinnamon and has earned over 3 billion VND from selling cinnamon,” Mr. Sau shared.

In just 10 months of 2025, farmers' associations at all levels organized 138 training courses, transferring techniques to over 7,600 members and farmers; coordinated with departments, branches and enterprises to organize 21 short-term vocational training courses on livestock breeding, cultivation, medicinal plant growing techniques, agricultural product processing and agricultural e-commerce; coordinated to organize 8 vocational training courses, granting certificates to 252 rural workers; guided 1,400 households to register digital booths on Postmart, Voso and deployed 16 models of linking agricultural product consumption in localities. The whole province has 12 cooperatives and 45 cooperative groups newly established by farmers' associations in 2025.
Along with that, the association levels also coordinate with the Social Policy Bank and the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development to entrust and guarantee loans for members to develop the economy.
By the end of October 2025, the association at all levels had entrusted banks to lend to nearly 66,100 households, with a total outstanding loan balance of VND 5,685 billion to build production, business and economic development models. Continue to effectively promote the capital source of the Farmers' Support Fund for lending to members with a total fund source in the whole province reaching over VND 88 billion, implementing 173 projects for 1,173 households, with an outstanding loan balance of over VND 54 billion.

Through specific activities, the Provincial Farmers' Association has gradually changed the production mindset of farmers, from simple agricultural production to agricultural economy, circular agriculture, organic and sustainable agriculture; converting crop and livestock varieties suitable to local advantages. Thereby forming a number of specialized models of the province, such as: growing and processing organic cinnamon; producing safe vegetables and fruit trees according to a closed process and connecting participants in the value chain; growing medicinal plants under the forest canopy; growing mulberry to raise silkworms... helping to increase income for members, especially in remote areas and ethnic minority areas, contributing to sustainable poverty reduction.
In the coming time, the Provincial Farmers' Association will continue to pay attention to supporting materials, capital, seeds, transferring science and technology to farmers; propagating to change awareness from thinking of pure agricultural production to agricultural economics in accordance with the spirit of the Provincial Party Congress resolution.
Farmers at all levels also encourage farmers to apply digital technology in product promotion, online sales, and participation in e-commerce platforms; advise and support farmers to participate in collective economic forms, establish new-style cooperatives, branches, and professional associations; continue to entrust and guarantee with banks and effectively promote the capital of the Farmers' Support Fund to help members have capital for production and business.

At the same time, it helps to remove difficulties, ensure the legitimate and legal rights and interests of members. Thereby, creating motivation to promote farmer members to develop the economy, contributing to the development of the province's agricultural and rural economy, building new rural areas, improving people's lives and consolidating the great national unity bloc in the province.
