Opening of the Winter Festival "Colors of the White Plateau" in 2025

On the evening of November 15, at the Cultural Market Stage, the People's Committee of Bac Ha Commune held the opening ceremony of the 2025 Winter Festival with the theme "Colors of the White Plateau". Attending the program were leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune along with a large number of people and tourists.

The opening ceremony kicked off impressively with a series of special performances by the Tay Na Hoi Folk Song and Dance Club and the Hong Mi Folk Club. The graceful dances, profound traditional melodies and colorful costumes of the ethnic groups created a festive atmosphere imbued with the highland identity.

On the opening night, the 2025 Bac Ha Commune Traditional Costume Competition attracted a large number of tourists. Six teams from Na Hoi, Thai Giang Pho, Town, Nam Mon, Hoang Thu Pho and Ban Pho villages brought their typical costumes, recreating the unique and diverse cultural beauty of the ethnic communities in the commune.

The organizing committee awarded souvenir flags to the teams participating in the traditional costume performance contest of Bac Ha commune's ethnic groups.

The 2025 “Colors of the White Plateau” Winter Festival, taking place from November 14 to 23, is an important event to promote local winter tourism products, contributing to preserving and promoting national cultural identity, and at the same time making Bac Ha an attractive destination on the province's tourism map.
