Bringing the law closer to students

At Vo Nguyen Giap High School, the Provincial Bar Association disseminated the basic content of legal documents directly related to students' age, such as: Children's Law; Cyber Security Law; Road Traffic Law; Prevention and control of school violence...

The propaganda session took place enthusiastically, attracting hundreds of students, teachers and school staff to participate. Here, the lawyers shared many familiar and practical contents suitable for school age, such as: how to prevent and combat school violence; traffic safety; safe use of social networks; legal responsibilities when violating the law; rights and obligations of citizens. Instead of dry lectures, the lawyers brought to the school's students real-life stories and vivid legal situations to help them understand and remember easily.

Lawyer Nguyen Thi Thanh Nghia, Head of the Provincial Bar Association, shared: We hope that students understand that the law is not far away, it is present in every action, word and decision of each person. Knowing and understanding the law is the best way to protect yourself and respect others. What we hope is to continue to propagate, disseminate and educate the law to many localities and schools in the province.

The students also enthusiastically asked questions about real-life situations, such as: what to do when experiencing school violence, are students required to wear helmets when riding electric bicycles?... With easy-to-understand, concise but profound answers from the lawyers, they helped the students clearly understand the boundary between right and wrong, thereby forming a sense of law compliance right in the school environment.

Nguyen Hoang Long, a 12th grade student, shared: Through the dissemination and education of the law by the Bar Association at school, we have a better understanding of legal regulations. This is a practical and useful activity that helps us better understand regulations directly related to school age, and draw many lessons to be more careful in life.

Teacher Nguyen Tien Hai, Vo Nguyen Giap High School said: The legal propaganda activities carried out by the Provincial Bar Association have brought about clear results. Students not only acquire useful knowledge but also change their perspective on the law from having to study law to wanting to study and access the law more to soon form a sense of law compliance.

The propaganda session is also an opportunity for the Thai Nguyen Provincial Bar Association to fulfill its professional social responsibility, contributing to spreading the spirit of respect for the law, bringing the image of lawyers closer to the community, especially the young generation. Through meaningful and practical activities, it contributes to forming a safe, friendly and disciplined school environment, where students clearly understand their rights and obligations to live responsibly towards themselves and society.
