Raising awareness of autism spectrum disorders

(CT) - Can Tho City Social Work Center has just organized a training course to raise awareness about autism spectrum disorder and the importance of early intervention in the community.

Preschool education managers participate in exchanges and discussions at the training class.

At the training course, over 160 delegates who are preschool education managers and medical staff in the city learned and exchanged knowledge about normal child development; overview of autism, current situation, and causes. Besides updating knowledge about early signs, distinguishing attachment disorder and autism spectrum disorder, delegates discussed the goals, meaning, and importance of early intervention for children with autism spectrum disorder...

The training course is part of a series of activities of the project "Raising awareness of autism spectrum disorders and the importance of early intervention for children with autism spectrum disorders in Can Tho City, period 2025-2028", sponsored by Saigon Children's Charity CIO.
