Phu Tho converts 16.67 hectares of forest for resort project

16.67 hectares of forest were converted by Phu Tho province for the enterprise to implement the Hoa Binh Lake Resort and Eco-tourism project.

Mr. Dinh Cong Su, Vice Chairman of Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee has just signed a Decision on changing the purpose of forest use to other purposes to implement the Hoa Binh Lake Resort and Eco- tourism project in Suoi Hoa Commune, Tan Lac District, Hoa Binh Province (now Muong Hoa Commune, Phu Tho Province).

Accordingly, the People's Committee of Phu Tho province decided to change the purpose of forest use to another purpose to implement the Hoa Binh Lake Resort and Eco-tourism project with a total area of ​​16.67 hectares.

Of which, the natural forest area is 1.92 hectares, including 0.49 hectares of planned protective forest and 1.43 hectares adjusted outside the planning of three types of forest (originating from planned protective forest).

The remaining planted forest area is 14.75 hectares, of which 0.95 hectares are planned for protection forests and 13.8 hectares have been adjusted outside the planning of three types of forests (including: 8.56 hectares of planned protection forests; 5.24 hectares of planned production forests).

The location for forest use purpose conversion includes 47 lots in 2 compartments, sub-area 161, in Muong Hoa commune, Phu Tho province (formerly Suoi Hoa commune, Tan Lac district, Hoa Binh province).

The People's Committee of Phu Tho province requests the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Phu Tho province to publish this Decision on the website of the Department of Agriculture and Environment; direct specialized agencies to strengthen, inspect, and guide the implementation of the project in accordance with the correct location and boundary of the forest with converted use purposes; preside over and advise the People's Committee of Phu Tho province to handle land-related contents to implement the Project in accordance with regulations.

Muong Hoa Commune People's Committee is responsible for closely inspecting and monitoring the project implementation process in accordance with the location and boundaries of the forest where the purpose of use is changed; promptly detecting violations of forestry laws (if any) and handling them according to regulations.

Lac Hong Investment Joint Stock Company is responsible for implementing the project in the correct location and area of ​​forest use conversion; and carrying out other related procedures according to the provisions of law.
