Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Luan spoke at the conference.

Speaking at the conference, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Luan welcomed the delegates representing the Departments of Education and Training in the Southern region who attended in Ca Mau. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that Ca Mau always pays attention to and prioritizes investment in education development, considering this as the foundation for sustainable development.

In recent times, the province has implemented many solutions to improve the quality of education, such as rearranging the school system, eliminating satellite schools; increasing investment in facilities, especially in rural areas; reviewing and solving the shortage of teachers; promoting the application of technology in teaching and educational management.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed his hope that the conference would be an opportunity for localities to share experiences and propose practical solutions to further improve the quality of education in the entire Southern region.

Delegates from 6 Departments of Education and Training in the Southern region attended the conference .

Competition cluster No. 5 includes 6 Departments of Education and Training: An Giang , Ca Mau, Dong Nai, Dong Thap, Tay Ninh and Vinh Long. In the 2024-2025 school year, the Department of Education and Training of Ca Mau province will take on the role of Cluster Leader.

By the end of August 2025, preschool, general education and continuing education facilities in the Cluster had mobilized 3,248,067 students/98,001 groups and classes, an increase of 70,468 students compared to the same period in the 2023-2024 school year. The entire Cluster has 3,793 schools meeting national standards, accounting for 60.04%, of which level 1 is 3,283 schools (86.55%), level 2 is 510 schools (13.45%).

Dr. Le Hoang Du, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ca Mau province, representing Emulation Cluster No. 5, reported on the results of the Cluster's activities for the 2024-2025 school year.

In the 2024-2025 school year, with the theme "Innovation, quality improvement, solidarity - discipline", the Departments of Education and Training in the Cluster have made efforts to basically complete the assigned targets, tasks, and key solutions. As a result, 2/6 Departments of Education and Training fully implemented the 16 criteria, and 4/6 Departments received bonus points.
