New revelations about the iPhone Fold.

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - In a report shared by analyst Jeff Pu, the foldable iPhone (iPhone Fold) will have a frame made from a composite material of titanium and aluminum.

Apple is also reportedly planning to expand the use of titanium in its product lines, such as the iPhone Fold and iPhone Air. Previous rumors suggested the foldable iPhone would be 4.5mm thick when unfolded. This thickness is even thinner than the iPhone Air.

According to Bloomberg , the iPhone Fold will look like two iPhone Airs placed side-by-side. This information aligns with many predictions that the iPhone Air was a prototype designed by Apple before creating the foldable iPhone.

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says Apple's first foldable iPhone will integrate the Touch ID fingerprint sensor into the power button on the side, instead of using an in-display fingerprint sensor.

"Currently, many rumors suggest that the foldable iPhone will use an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor under the screen. However, that is unlikely to happen. Luxshare is expected to supply the Touch ID module in the power button for the foldable iPhone," Kuo shared.

The iPhone Fold is expected to have a total of four cameras. One camera will be on the inner screen, one on the outer screen, and two main cameras will be on the back.

The dual rear camera setup will have a resolution of 48MP. Experts believe the second lens is most likely an ultra-wide-angle lens, rather than a periscope lens, due to space limitations inside the foldable device.

Apple is reportedly going to use the C2 modem in the foldable iPhone to support cellular connectivity. However, the device may not have a physical SIM card slot.

According to a report from market research firm TrendForce , the foldable iPhone will feature a 7.8-inch internal display and a 5.5-inch external display.

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says the crease on the device's screen will almost disappear. Apple is reportedly using a special metal frame that helps distribute the pressure when the screen bends, thereby minimizing the impact that causes the crease.
