The first World Cultural Festival in Hanoi was hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Hanoi People's Committee, to honor the cultural diversity of countries around the world, while promoting the image of the country and people of Vietnam to international friends.

The festival is an important initiative to honor the pivotal role of culture in sustainable development, and at the same time act as a bridge connecting nations and peoples to overcome global challenges and move towards peace and common prosperity.

With the motto "Culture is the foundation - Art is the means", the first World Cultural Festival in Hanoi is not only a large-scale cultural event, but also an outstanding foreign activity of Vietnam in 2025, contributing to affirming the role of Hanoi - the center of convergence and dissemination of international cultural values.

This year's festival attracted the participation of 48 participating countries with many special activities.

Taking place from October 10-12 at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel, the Festival, in addition to honoring cultural diversity, also affirms the spirit of humanity: people, regardless of language or skin color, still share the same heart of sharing, the same aspiration to heal and build a better world./.
