Hanoi: From July 1, digital signature of administrative procedure results for business registration will be implemented.

On June 30, the Hanoi People's Committee issued Document No. 3824/UBND-KT on the implementation of digital signature of results of handling administrative procedures in the field of business registration in the city, sent to the city's departments, branches and sectors; Tax Department of Region I; Social Insurance of Region I; Customs Department of Region I; Hanoi Statistics Office; State Bank - Branch of Region I; People's Committees of communes and wards; commercial banks in the city.

Accordingly, the City People's Committee assigned the Department of Finance to deploy digital signature of the results of handling records for all administrative procedures in the field of business registration in Hanoi from July 1 (only sign paper copies or issue certified copies printed from the System in case of technical problems that prevent digital signature or according to the proposal of the citizen organization to be provided with a paper copy).

At the same time, preside over the review (advising the City People's Committee if necessary), report and propose the Ministry of Finance to continue reforming and simplifying administrative procedures in the field of business registration, perfecting the National Information System on business registration to ensure consistency and effectiveness in applying digital signatures, creating maximum convenience for people and businesses and supporting business registration agencies to meet the requirements, increasing workload and records, and strengthening state management of businesses.

The City People's Committee assigns departments, branches, sectors; People's Committees of communes, wards and related units to properly implement Directive No. 08/CT-UBND dated April 29, 2025 of the City People's Committee: Recognize the legal value and use the digital signature of the results of handling administrative procedures for business registration issued by the Department of Finance for use in the process of handling administrative procedures and other work related to people and businesses, not requiring businesses to submit a paper copy of the results of handling business registration documents in place of the digital signature.

Departments, branches, sectors; People's Committees of communes, wards and related units review, report to the Department of Finance to synthesize, advise the City People's Committee and competent agencies to direct the handling of problems and amendments when using digital signatures of business registration results in the process of handling administrative procedures and other related work of citizens and businesses to ensure consistency and efficiency in state management.

The City People's Committee requests agencies and units to focus on implementation, ensuring the best resolution of administrative work and procedures to serve people and businesses, contributing to promoting growth and economic and social development of the capital and the whole country.
