Two designs "Oceanaria" and "Volcanaria" by designer Nguyen Tien Truyen were recently chosen by two Indian beauties - Juhi Vyas and Mohini Sharma - to appear on the red carpet of the 2025 Cannes Film Festival.
Juhi Vyas - Mrs. India Globe 2023 - wore the "Volcanaria" design inspired by volcanoes, while Mohini Sharma - President of Mrs. India Inc and social activist - appeared in the "Oceanaria" dress depicting the image of ocean waves.
Two designs contrasting in image but similar in message, expressing the beauty of nature and calling for action to protect the environment.

Sharing with international media, Juhi said: "As a mother, I feel a deep responsibility to protect the planet for future generations. This dress symbolizes heat waves, rising temperatures and those who are silently suffering. I chose to wear this dress because so many people are living with it every day."
"My dress reflects the ocean, calm on the surface but struggling underneath. From melting glaciers to suffocating marine life, the crisis is real. I'm here because the ocean needs everyone to come together to protect it," Mohini shared.
According to designer Nguyen Tien Truyen, both beauties have been following him on Instagram for a long time and proactively contacted him to place orders after consulting many international designers. They wanted to find designs that combine fashion elements and can convey a voice for the environment.
Right from the moment he received the assignment, Nguyen Tien Truyen thought of two essential elements of nature: fire and water. It is known that the two costumes were handmade in 400 hours.
The "Oceanaria" collection represents the ocean, with its delicate colors and modern shape. The design not only honors feminine beauty but also symbolizes life, the voice of the ocean in the era of plastic pollution, melting ice and climate change.

The "Volcanaria" design with two strong red and black tones evokes the image of lava, the fierceness and resurrection of volcanoes. The dress creates a feeling like a phoenix of fire, symbolizing the power of rebirth from the ashes.
Nguyen Tien Truyen added that the two beauties flew to Vietnam to try on the clothes and had emotional moments when they first saw the costumes made for them.
This is not the first time Nguyen Tien Truyen has designed on the international stage. Previously, he has collaborated with artists at the Eurovision music contest, as well as created costumes for singer Cat Khac Tuyen Dat (China).
Juhi Vyas from Durg, Chhattisgarh (India) used to be a software engineer then turned to the beauty and fashion industry, becoming a makeup artist, catwalk instructor and founder of her own beauty brand.
She was the runner-up of Mrs. India Inc 2022, Mrs. Globe India 2023, People's Choice award - the first time for an Indian representative at Mrs. Globe...
In 2024, Juhi became the first Indian to judge Mrs. Globe in China and was selected to walk at Paris Fashion Week 2025.
Mohini Sharma is Mrs. India World 2016, founder and chairperson of Mrs. India Inc - a prestigious beauty pageant for married women in India.
Mohini Sharma has many years of experience managing and establishing schools in Mumbai, working on health, sanitation, women's empowerment and supporting girls' education.
