According to information from the Hai Phong Departmentof Education and Training, this year the city has 26,108 candidates registered to take the entrance exam to non-specialized public high schools and 1,899 candidates taking the entrance exam to Tran Phu Specialized High School. The exam is organized on a large scale, including 43 general examination councils with 1,103 examination rooms, and 1 specialized examination council.
Nearly 3,800 exam invigilators and about 670 exam markers were mobilized to ensure the exam took place seriously and in accordance with regulations.

In the non-specialized public high school system, Ngo Quyen High School continues to maintain its leading position with a first-choice standard score of 25.75 points. The schools with the next highest standard scores include: Thai Phien High School (24.25 points), Le Quy Don High School (23.6 points), Kien An High School (22.5 points), Le Hong Phong High School and Tran Nguyen Han High School, both with 22 points. In suburban areas, the standard scores are significantly lower, typically Nguyen Khuyen High School (14.6 points), To Hieu High School (13.5 points) and Cat Hai High School (12.7 points).
For the specialized system, Tran Phu High School for the Gifted continues to record high benchmark scores, in which the Chemistry specialized class leads with 44.05 points. Other specialized classes with high benchmark scores include: English specialized (39.55 points), Physics specialized (39.20 points) and Literature specialized (38.75 points). The lowest score belongs to the French specialized class with 28.01 points. Note that specialized subject scores are multiplied by a factor of 2 when considering admission.
The Hai Phong Department of Education and Training announced that the admission period for students who passed the first choice will take place from June 17 to June 21, 2025. After this deadline, schools that still lack enrollment quotas will organize additional admission for the second choice.

To support candidates in the process of searching and answering questions, the Department has set up online support channels via email and hotline. In case of exam review, the Department has also provided specific instructions on the process and time for receiving applications; candidates need to follow the latest announcements on the website to comply with regulations.
The Hai Phong Department of Education and Training affirmed that it has closely coordinated with units and localities to organize the exam and enrollment in a serious, safe and correct manner. At the same time, it recommends that parents and students continue to closely follow official announcements to promptly update important information related to enrollment in grade 10 for the 2025-2026 school year.
