The Department of Health has issued guidelines, organized training and established a Working Group to support the implementation of BAĐT at the units. Currently, the implementation plan for the remaining medical facilities is being built, including hospitals and medical centers in both the East and West of the city. The implementation is carried out through the rental of information technology services, including HIS, LIS, EMR, PACS software and server systems located at the unit.
According to the Department of Health leader, the application of BAĐT not only helps shorten the time for medical examination and treatment, reduce paperwork but also improve the quality of records management, ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of patient information. “We aim that by 2026, 100% of medical examination and treatment facilities in the area will use electronic medical records, moving towards a smart, synchronous and effective health system,” the Department leader emphasized.
