Hai Phong: Training on implementing Circular 23 and medical statistics software for more than 200 officers

More than 200 officers and statistical specialists from medical units, People's Committees of communes, wards, special zones and some hospitals in the area participated in the training course. Of which, 104 units from the East studied at Hai Phong Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital, 91 units from the West studied at Hai Duong General Hospital.

Deputy Director of the Department of Health Nhu Huu Nhuan delivered the opening speech.

Speaking at the opening ceremony at Hai Duong General Hospital, Deputy Director of the Department of Health Nhu Huu Nhuan emphasized the importance of approaching and applying the new points in Circular 23, and at the same time requested trainees to seriously study, practice, and exchange experiences to effectively deploy statistical software at their units. Using the software in accordance with the instructions not only contributes to enriching the health sector's data warehouse but also optimizes the work process, improves management efficiency and the quality of health care for the people.

Currently, the National Health Information Center has completed the upgrade of the medical statistics software and provided user accounts to all medical facilities in Hai Phong city. At the training class, trainees were comprehensively introduced to Circular 23, clarifying the changes compared to previous regulations. In addition to the theory, trainees were also given detailed instructions on how to enter, check, review and adjust data on the medical statistics software.

The training session provided a lot of practical knowledge, which is an important first step to help medical facilities in Hai Phong better perform medical statistics and reporting in the coming time.
