Emergency allocation of nearly 100 billion VND to overcome flood damage

The Provincial People's Committee has just issued an allocation of emergency support funds for 2025 according to Decision No. 2549/QD-TTg dated November 21, 2025 of the Prime Minister, to help localities and units quickly overcome damage caused by floods. The total allocated budget this time is 99.6 billion VND.

Specifically, 94.6 billion VND is added with targets for communes and wards; 5 billion VND is added to the expenditure estimate for provincial agencies and units.

The government distributes government -supported rice to people in Tuy An Nam commune.

The Provincial People's Committee requests the Chairmen of the People's Committees of communes and wards and heads of relevant units to manage and use the budget for the right purpose, right target, publicly and transparently, to avoid loss and negativity; at the same time, report the results of use to the Department of Finance, the Department of Agriculture and Environment and relevant agencies to synthesize and report to the Provincial People's Committee. In case the entire budget is not used, the units must return it to the provincial budget according to regulations.

For the remaining 50.4 billion VND that has not been allocated in Decision No. 2549/QD-TTg, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to advise the Provincial Civil Defense Command on natural disaster prevention and control to continue reviewing and urgently propose an allocation plan, and send it to the Department of Finance to advise the Provincial People's Committee for timely consideration and allocation.
