Currently, in the wards under the Center, a number of diseases with high numbers of cases are managed, such as dengue fever, hand, foot and mouth disease, flu... Currently, the Center is facing many difficulties: lack of medical staff, most of the medical stations under the Center are doctors, nurses, and midwives. The Center's headquarters are cramped, and the facilities are degraded because the buildings were built a long time ago. The medical examination and treatment facility of Hai Duong Medical Center was built many years ago, so it is cramped and many items are degraded.

Through a field survey and listening to a report on the performance of the Hai Duong Medical Center, Associate Professor - Doctor, Director of the Department of Health Le Minh Quang acknowledged the efforts of the staff and employees of the Center in carrying out medical examination, treatment, and epidemic prevention in the management area. The Director of the Department of Health shared the difficulties of the unit's cramped and degraded facilities. To gradually overcome the above situation, the Center needs to review and select a number of infrastructures of agencies and units that are currently not in use due to the policy of merging administrative boundaries, urgently report to the Department of Health to propose the city to create conditions to move the Center to a new, suitable location. The leaders of the Department of Health also suggested and oriented the unit to continue developing specialized cutting-edge techniques in the paraclinical field in the coming time.
