On May 19, 2021, the Central Party Secretariat issued Directive No. 03-CT/TW to strengthen leadership over the Campaign. The Hai Phong City Party Committee and People's Committee promptly issued specific documents and plans to effectively implement the Campaign. Plans such as Plan No. 104-KH/TU and Plan No. 130/KH-UBND have been implemented to clearly assign responsibilities to relevant agencies and units, ensuring consistency and effectiveness in implementation.
At the same time, Party committees and local authorities have organized many conferences and seminars to thoroughly understand the purpose and significance of the Campaign, thereby raising awareness among cadres, party members and people about the importance of using Vietnamese goods. The establishment of the Campaign Steering Committee at departments, branches and localities has also created a close coordination mechanism, helping to increase operational efficiency.

The campaign has brought about many encouraging results, specifically:
- Market share of Vietnamese goods: Vietnamese goods account for over 90% in modern distribution channels and over 84% in traditional distribution channels, showing consumers' trust in domestic products.
- Retail sales: The domestic economic sector accounts for 88% of total retail sales of goods in the area, demonstrating the strength of Vietnamese goods in meeting people's consumption needs.
- Recognizing Vietnamese products: More than 95% of consumers and businesses know about Vietnamese product recognition programs such as "Proud of Vietnamese products", showing the effectiveness of communication and promotion activities.
The campaign not only enhances the leadership role of Party committees at all levels but also encourages businesses to produce high-quality goods. Fairs and exhibitions of Vietnamese goods, along with communication activities, have created a strong influence, gradually building a positive consumer culture in the community. Consumers are increasingly more conscious in choosing products, prioritizing Vietnamese goods, thereby contributing to promoting the development of the local economy.
In addition, the Campaign has also helped strengthen the connection between enterprises producing and distributing goods, creating a mutually supportive ecosystem. Many enterprises have proactively improved product quality and enhanced customer service to meet the increasing demands of consumers.
Despite many achievements, the Campaign still needs further improvement. To promote its effectiveness, the Steering Committees of the Campaign at all levels need to focus on a number of key tasks:
1. Strengthening leadership responsibility: It is necessary to clearly define the role of all levels and sectors in organizing and implementing the Campaign, prioritizing the use of Vietnamese goods in state agencies and encouraging large enterprises to cooperate with small enterprises in consuming goods.
2. Support for businesses: Review and improve policy mechanisms to facilitate businesses, especially small and medium enterprises, to participate in the chain of high-quality goods production. Training and technical support programs are needed to improve production and management capacity for businesses.
3. Strengthen communication: Promote information work so that consumers can better understand the quality of Vietnamese goods, thereby encouraging the use of Vietnamese goods. The media needs to coordinate closely to provide accurate and timely information about Vietnamese goods, creating trust for consumers.
4. Trade promotion: Strengthen trade promotion activities and apply science and technology to improve the competitiveness of enterprises. It is necessary to organize large-scale fairs and exhibitions to introduce Vietnamese products to consumers.
5. Market control: Strengthen inspection and strictly handle violations of the law in the production and trading of counterfeit and fake goods to protect the rights of consumers and legitimate businesses. Hotlines should be established so that consumers can report violations.
The campaign “Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods” will continue to be one of the important tasks, contributing to raising consumer awareness and developing the country’s economy. With the joint efforts of all levels, sectors and the whole society, it is hoped that Vietnamese goods will increasingly dominate the domestic market, creating a solid foundation for sustainable development in the future.
