According to statistics from Bac Giang Customs, there are currently 1,300 enterprises regularly carrying out procedures/a total of nearly 1,900 enterprises carrying out customs procedures. Luxshare - ICT Limited Liability Company, Van Trung Industrial Park is a foreign-invested enterprise regularly carrying out procedures through Bac Giang Customs. Mr. Khai Chan, General Director of the Company expressed: "In the coming time, we hope to continue to receive support from the Customs authority to increase the rate of green lane declarations, helping to reduce customs clearance time and deliver goods quickly". It is known that the Company is currently providing jobs for nearly 29,000 workers. In 2024, the Company will be recognized as a priority enterprise in the import and export of goods.
In 2025, Bac Giang Customs proposed many key solutions to increase state budget revenue. The unit continues to grasp the situation and developments in the management area directly related to customs management such as the progress of planning and construction of industrial zones and clusters, thereby being more proactive in professional work. Regularly meet and contact businesses to propagate and disseminate tax laws and policies, and promptly remove obstacles, facilitating import and export activities. In particular, the unit strictly controls the application of prices, codes, origins and classification of goods to collect correctly and sufficiently to avoid tax losses. Along with that, it is necessary to carry out post-clearance inspection, price consultation, fight against smuggling and trade fraud to increase budget revenue. Step up the work of urging debt collection, resolutely not letting bad debts arise. Review tax exemption, reduction, refund and collection records after analysis and classification to ensure strict tax exemption, reduction, refund and collection, in accordance with regulations and for the right subjects.
Accumulated from the beginning of the year to July 23, 2025, the unit has processed procedures for 472,957 declarations, with total import and export turnover reaching 46.729 billion USD. State budget revenue reached 1,538 billion VND, equal to 65% of the target assigned in 2025, up 42% over the same period in 2024. Some groups of goods with large values and high tax rates that increased sharply are traditional goods, mainly machinery, equipment, tools, other spare parts, base metals, phones, etc. However, because the type of export in the management area is mainly processing, export production, and export processing to serve the production of goods subject to tax exemption, the state budget revenue is not commensurate with the import and export turnover. Since the beginning of the year, the total number of enterprises carrying out customs procedures subject to tax exemption is more than 480 enterprises.
To achieve and exceed the state budget revenue target for the whole year of 2025 of VND 2,350 billion, Bac Giang Customs continues to strictly implement regulations on tax management and policies for import and export goods; maintain monthly budget revenue assessment; review and find revenue sources, mobilize businesses to declare customs and pay taxes at the unit; arrange staff on duty 24/7, including holidays, to guide businesses to complete declarations and clear goods. At the same time, consider shortening administrative procedures, continue to promote the application of technology in customs activities.
