Noi Bai International Airport Customs coordinated to seize 5.3 kg of drugs

(Chinhphu.vn) – At the beginning of the peak month, Noi Bai International Airport Customs (CKSBQT) continuously successfully cracked down, arrested subjects and large quantities of drugs of all kinds. Recently, this unit coordinated with functional forces to consecutively successfully crack down on two major drug cases, seizing more than 5.3 kg of various synthetic drugs.

On June 4, with the spirit of "Sharing a common determination - For a drug-free community", implementing the Government 's direction under Official Dispatch No. 4685/VPCP-KGVX dated May 27, 2025, the Customs Department issued Official Dispatch No. 7202/CHQ-ĐTCBL dated June 2, 2025 to deploy the month of action for drug prevention and control in 2025. The Customs sector continues to identify drug prevention and control as a key, regular and long-term task.

At the beginning of the peak month, Noi Bai International Border Gate Customs continuously successfully destroyed and arrested subjects and large quantities of drugs of all kinds. With information and professional measures, on May 31, 2025, at Nguyen Van Cu Street, Long Bien District, Hanoi City, Noi Bai International Border Gate Customs presided over, the Customs Control Team - Regional Customs Branch I, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department (PC04) - Hanoi City Police coordinated to arrest LTK, born in 1998, while the subject was illegally transporting more than 3.1 kg of Ketamine.

This amount of ecstasy was cleverly hidden, mixed in 08 bags of synthetic seeds, chocolate candies of the brands "Milka MMMax", "NOTENMIX", "WALNOTEN", "MOKATE CHOCOLATE". Currently, the Customs agency has handed over the subject and all the evidence, records, and documents to the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department (PC04) - Hanoi City Police to continue investigating and handling according to the provisions of law.

In addition, on June 3, 2025, in Thach Thang Ward, Hai Chau, Da Nang City, Noi Bai International Border Gate Customs, PC04-Hanoi City Police, PC04-Da Nang City Police and Customs Control Team-Customs Sub-Department of Region I arrested 1 subject, seized more than 5,000 ecstasy pills (2.2 kg of MDMA drugs). The case is being further investigated by the participating forces.
