After 5 years of implementation, the Coordination Regulation has contributed to facilitating and improving the legal compliance capacity of the Association's member enterprises; promoting partnership and companionship between customs agencies and the business community, thereby facilitating cross-border trade activities.
Through the implementation of the Coordination Regulations, the relationship between customs and enterprises has changed from "management objects" to "partners", based on the principles of transparency, publicity, compliance with the law, listening, understanding, sharing, cooperation and companionship.
Accordingly, the work of facilitating trade, reducing customs clearance time, as well as promptly handling business problems has been and is being vigorously implemented.
The conference was attended by representatives of the Party Committee, leaders of the Customs Branch of Region VI, the Staff Departments and 5 Customs units at border gates and the Business Association of Lang Son province.

Through assessment, the relationship between customs and enterprises has changed from "management objects" to "partners" based on the principles of transparency, publicity, compliance with the law, listening, understanding, sharing, cooperation and companionship. Trade facilitation, reducing customs clearance time, as well as promptly handling business problems have been vigorously implemented.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Ho Phi Dung, Chairman of the Association acknowledged the support and companionship of Customs Region VI and frankly assessed the limitations of the association in strengthening partnerships and cooperation, especially the application of digital technology in synthesizing data reports, and propagating to businesses to fully understand their rights and responsibilities when providing information to customs agencies, serving the work of assessing compliance and ranking businesses.

At the conference, comrade Nguyen Van Hoan, Party Secretary, Head of the Customs Branch of Region VI, said that the Customs Branch of Region VI has been promoting digital transformation in internal management; in implementing customs procedures, promoting administrative reform, and implementing tasks in the Smart Border Gate Pilot Project and the digital border gate platform.

Lang Son Customs also determined to build partnerships to form a reliable supply chain; encourage the business community to participate in providing feedback to help improve customs law policies and law enforcement supervision; strengthen cooperation, dialogue, research, investment in facilities, information technology infrastructure; modernize customs law enforcement supervision channels... determined to realize Resolution 68 of the Central Committee on private economic development.

To continue to improve the effectiveness of coordination, the two sides exchanged solutions to maintain and innovate diverse forms of dialogue; continue to promote administrative procedure reform; coordinate for the Provincial Business Association to establish an Import-Export Business Association; accelerate information exchange via digital platforms; strengthen training and capacity building for businesses; promote communication and image promotion, create an increasingly favorable and transparent business environment, contributing to the socio-economic development of Lang Son province.
