On June 10, 2025, at the Central Transportation and Logistics Center (belonging to the Postal Transportation and Logistics Company), Team 2 coordinated with the Danang Industrial Park Customs to inspect two international mail items.
The first parcel, number LZ220990622CN (sent from China to Vietnam), contained a cardboard globe with the phrase "South China Sea" printed on it instead of the East Sea, the correct way to refer to Vietnam's sovereignty.
The second parcel, number CM242668003US (sent from the US to Vietnam), contained two books printed with obscene images. Both items violated regulations on imported cultural products.

Speaking with the Government Electronic Newspaper, Mr. Ho Van Dung, Deputy Head of the Regional Customs Branch XIV (in charge of Gia Lai and Dak Lak) said that the drug trafficking situation in this area is becoming complicated, especially at the Bo Y border gate.
The Customs force has increased peak inspection periods, applied modern equipment, coordinated with the police, border guards, and market management. Notably, many drug cases were cleverly disguised in items such as chocolate candy and synthetic nuts.
From mid-December 2024 to mid-May 2025, the Customs Department nationwide seized a total of 76 drug cases with a volume of up to 1.9 tons, involving 83 suspects.
"It is possible that drug criminals are moving from hot spots like Nghe An and Ha Tinh to the Central Highlands, where they believe they will receive less attention," said Mr. Ho Van Dung. Therefore, Mr. Dung believes that it is necessary to maintain a permanent force at hot spots, while applying technology to detect from a distance and prevent in time.
