Two Working Groups of the Politburo worked with the Standing Committees of the Provincial Party Committees of Son La, Thanh Hoa, Bac Ninh, and Lang Son provinces.

(laichau.gov.vn) On the afternoon of August 20, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, Working Group No. 2 of the Politburo chaired by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Working Group No. 3 of the Politburo chaired by National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man worked with representatives of the Standing Committees of the Provincial Party Committees of Son La, Thanh Hoa, Bac Ninh, and Lang Son provinces to give opinions on draft documents and personnel plans for Party Committees to be submitted to the Provincial Party Congresses for the 2025-2030 term.

Also attending the working session were comrades: Le Minh Hung, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Commission; Nguyen Trong Nghia, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council; Phan Van Giang, Politburo member, Minister of National Defense; Luong Tam Quang, Politburo member, Minister of Public Security; Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Politburo member, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee ; Le Minh Tri, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court; Trinh Van Quyet, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army and representatives of the leaders of the Central Party Committees, the Central Party Office and a number of central ministries and branches.

At the working session, the Working Groups listened to and commented on the Draft documents mainly submitted to the Provincial Party Congresses, term 2025 - 2030, including: Political Report; Report reviewing the leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, term 2020 - 2025; Personnel project of the Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030; draft Resolution of the Congress.

In general, the draft document has been comprehensively evaluated by the provinces in terms of results over the past 5 years, frankly pointing out limitations, causes and drawing lessons.

The directions, goals, tasks and solutions for the 2025-2030 period demonstrate political determination, development vision, clearly identify key tasks and development breakthroughs; basically grasp and concretize major policies and orientations in the draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress and the recently issued resolutions of the Central Committee and the Politburo.

The speeches of the Politburo and Secretariat comrades basically agreed with the draft documents of the provinces, further clarifying the outstanding results and limitations; supplementing and clarifying the potential, strengths, strategic orientations in the new period and setting out requirements for each locality. The comrades requested the provinces to study and fully absorb the opinions of the Politburo and Secretariat members and the suggestions of the Central Committees, ministries and branches to complete the documents submitted to the Congress.

According to the Program, on August 21, 2025, the Politburo will work with representatives of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee and the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee./.
