- On the evening of August 25, at Dong Kinh Cinema, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held the opening ceremony of a film series to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

Attending the opening ceremony were representatives of leaders, civil servants, officials of departments, branches, unions in the province; provincial armed forces; veterans association and students, youth union members in the province.

At the opening ceremony, delegates enjoyed the documentary "The August Revolution was successful, the Democratic Republic of Vietnam was born" and the movie "Red Rain" - a film that recreated the heroic and resilient fight of our army and people during 81 days and nights to protect Quang Tri Ancient Citadel.

It is known that the film screening will take place from August 12 to September 5, 2025 at Dong Kinh Cinema and mobile cinema locations in the province.

Provincial armed forces soldiers attended the opening ceremony of the film series.

During the film campaign, people will enjoy special documentaries and movies such as: Hanoi in winter 1946; August Star; Wild Field; Dong Loc Junction; Hanoi 12 Days and Nights; Milestone in the middle of the ocean; Da River Navy; Special Companion...

Students, youth union members and many people attended the opening ceremony of the film series.

Through the film series, we aim to affirm the great historical significance of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, the leadership role of the Party, and the great President Ho Chi Minh in the history of the struggle for national liberation. Thereby contributing to educating patriotism, arousing national pride and creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere, encouraging all classes of people to actively compete to achieve achievements, successfully implementing the socio-economic development goals and tasks of the province in 2025.
