Ms. Pham Thi Hong Van - owner of Van Xeu decorative accessories shop (Hai Thuong Lan Ong street, Thanh Sen ward) shared: "In the past 10 days, the number of customers buying decorative accessories for National Day has increased sharply and never before have products printed with the red flag with a yellow star been as "in demand" as this year. As the 80th anniversary is celebrated, the designs of products to celebrate National Day are also more diverse, from national flags, flower flags, decals with the words "Independence - Freedom - Happiness", red products printed with yellow stars such as hand-held fans, scarves, hair clips, balloons... There are products that customers buy a lot, we have to update and replenish the stock continuously. In addition to direct sales, the shop is also accepting to decorate spaces to celebrate National Day for many agencies and units in the area".
In particular, the red flag T-shirt with yellow star is a “hot” item that many people are looking to buy this time. Not only stopping at the traditional red flag T-shirt with yellow star, this year’s National Day fashion has many creative designs, suitable for the modern style of young people.
Ms. Thu Ha - owner of the Cheap and Beautiful fashion shop (Xuan Dieu street, Thanh Sen ward) said: "Keeping up with the patriotic fashion trend, the shop quickly imported red flag and yellow star shirts to serve customers. This year, the shirt material is beautiful, many designs are stylized and youthful, creating a new and more diverse choice for customers. In addition, these shirt models are also highly applicable, after the holidays they can still be used as regular T-shirts."
Ms. Hoang Phuong - Ha Huy Tap ward shared: "I bought 4 shirts printed with the red flag with yellow star for the whole family, in addition, I also bought conical hats, small hand-held flags to take a family photo set on this meaningful event. This is an opportunity for the whole family to show their love for the Fatherland, to go out on the streets in bright red shirts with a feeling of pride, and it is also a way for us to educate our children about history, love for the country and national pride".
In addition to buying and selling activities, the rental service of “trendy” National Day costumes and accessories is also “in high demand” these days. The rental costumes are diverse for all ages, from adults to children, imbued with national culture and identity such as white ao dai printed with the National Flag, red flag scarves with yellow stars, etc.
Ms. Tran Thi Thu Hien - an employee at T-Princess children's costume rental store (Trung Tiet Street, Thanh Sen Ward) shared: "Customers have started renting costumes to take National Day photos for nearly a month now, but this is the peak time. In addition to renting to take souvenir photos, parents also rent them for their children to participate in programs and group activities at school. To diversify the choices, the store regularly updates many new costume models such as military band sets, ao dai with a scarf printed with the Vietnamese flag, ba ba, army uniforms... with rental prices from 80 - 150,000 VND/set".
Along with fashion trends or space decoration, this is also a "profitable" opportunity for studios when many young people, families, and organizations want to take photos with strong national imprints to record memorable moments.
Ms. Thien Nga - owner of Nha Co studio (Ha Huy Tap street, Thanh Sen ward) said: "In response to the National Day, Nha Co has launched photo packages based on themes and prepared costumes, designs, and set up many diverse backgrounds, suitable for children and families such as concepts: Vietnamese babies, white doves, peace flag, independence news. The price of the photo packages ranges from 800,000 - 2 million VND/package, depending on the needs of the customer. In particular, to create opportunities for many children to capture beautiful moments on this important holiday, the studio offers a discount on the portrait package from 1.5 million VND to only 1 million VND".
