Nordwind Airlines to reopen flights from Russia to Cam Ranh after 5-year suspension

On September 25, Ms. Hoang Thi Phong Thu - Chairwoman of the Board of Members of Pegas Misr Vietnam Travel Company Limited said that at the end of September 2025, Nordwind Airlines (Russia) will reopen direct flights from Russia to Cam Ranh after 5 years of suspension.

Accordingly, Pegas Misr Vietnam Travel Co., Ltd. will coordinate with Nordwind Airlines of Pegas Touristik Group to organize charter flights to bring Russian tourists to Khanh Hoa for vacation. The first flight from Moscow to Cam Ranh on September 29 will have nearly 380 passengers. From October 2025, the company will coordinate with Nordwind to organize from 18 to 22 flights/month, from the cities of Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Vladivostok, Ekaterinburg, Khabarovsk, Irkutsk, Krasnoyarsk to bring about 6,800 passengers/month to Khanh Hoa. Guests will stay from 10 to 12 days (some guests stay up to 28 days) at 4-5 star hotels and resorts in the province; participate in tours to visit relics, scenic spots, islands; explore Khanh Hoa's cuisine ...

Since the beginning of the year, the Russian tourist market has grown impressively. According to a report by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in the first 8 months of 2025, Khanh Hoa welcomed about 279,000 Russian visitors, an increase of 294.9% over the same period in 2024. Before Nordwind, Russian airlines Azur Air, Aeroflot, Ikar Airlines, IrAero Airlines, RedWings and Vietnam's Vietjet Air have continuously resumed flights from Russia to Cam Ranh. To date, there are about more than 30 flights/week from major Russian cities to Khanh Hoa.
