Airlines open flight route, give away 0 VND tickets to Hong Kong

Vietjet Air has just opened the sale of 0 VND air tickets from now until March 16 for flights between Vietnam and Hong Kong and Southeast Asian countries. The promotion is on the occasion of the airline opening a series of direct flights from Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Phu Quoc to Hong Kong with a flight network connecting throughout Southeast Asia.

Currently, Vietjet is the only airline with direct flights between Phu Quoc and Hong Kong. Vietjet will connect Hong Kong and Phu Quoc Island from April 27 with a frequency of 3 flights/week. Hong Kong passengers flying to Phu Quoc are completely exempted from entry visas.

The direct flight connecting Da Nang and Hong Kong will be operated from April 28 with a frequency of 4 flights/week. At the same time, the frequency of flights departing from Ho Chi Minh City to Hong Kong will also be increased to 7 flights/week.

Vietjet to open first direct flight between Hong Kong and Phu Quoc

As reported by Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, Cathay Pacific Airlines is also giving away 8,800 free air tickets to customers in Vietnam, part of a program to give away 500,000 free air tickets to tourists from all over the world to Hong Kong, sponsored by the Airports Authority of Hong Kong (AAHK).

In Vietnam, the ticket giveaway will take place from March 17 (12:00) to March 23 (23:59 local time) and will be awarded to the first 8,800 participants with correct answers. This is part of a campaign to promote Hong Kong in Southeast Asia.

According to information from Cathay Pacific, many Vietnamese tourists are concerned about the difficulty of applying for a visa to Hong Kong, but the airline recommends that passengers can apply for an electronic visa (e-visa) according to instructions and wait about 8-10 days to receive the results after submitting the application online.

On the part of travel agencies, many travel companies have resumed tour products between destinations in Vietnam and Hong Kong. However, according to Vietravel's updated information, Hong Kong still requires visitors to have a negative rapid antigen test result within 24 hours of entry. Therefore, visitors are concerned about this issue and tend to choose other tourist destinations such as Northeast Asia, Southeast Asia, or distant market routes such as Europe - Australia - America - Africa...
