In the clip, the main character is a woman who enters a restaurant on the 66th floor of the Landmark 81 building. She orders a portion of rib rice and a bottle of mineral water.
While waiting, the waiter brought out bread with tomato butter. Then, the rice was brought out including grilled pork ribs, steamed egg rolls with mushrooms, pork skin, a bowl of soup, accompanied by pork rinds, pickled vegetables and sweet and sour fish sauce. The price is 550,000 VND excluding tax and fees.
The woman filmed the entire process from sitting down to finishing the meal, with almost no additional commentary, allowing viewers to fully experience the experience.

According to the video the girl shared, while waiting for the main course, diners were served some bread with tomato butter (Photo: Screenshot).
In the comments section, many people expressed their surprise. “I was shocked when the staff brought out the plate of rice with ribs. I thought it would only have “flowery scent”, but it was full. I probably won’t be able to finish this portion,” one account wrote.
Another person said: “With this kind of service, 550,000 VND seems cheap. Sitting in a luxurious space, overlooking the whole city, I think it is worth the experience.”
However, some people also said that this price is enough to eat more than... 10 plates of rib rice at a cheap restaurant. Others pointed out that the video owner mistakenly called the dish "broken rice", while in fact this is rib rice cooked with ST25 rice, not broken rice.
Ingredients and experience make up the expensive price
According to Dan Tri reporter's research, the rib rice dish at the restaurant in Landmark 81 not only attracts attention because of its price, but also because of its special ingredients.
Mr. Nhan Vu, the person in charge here, once shared: “The dish of rice with ribs is very familiar to Vietnamese people. But here, we upgrade it with higher quality ingredients. For example, the ribs use Iberico pork, and the rice also uses ST25 rice.”
A plate of rib rice costs more than half a million VND in the tallest building in Vietnam (Video: Cam Tien).
According to the restaurant, the rice is cooked from ST25 rice - a type of Vietnamese rice that has twice been honored as "the best in the world " with soft, fragrant rice grains.
For the grilled ribs, the restaurant uses Iberico pork, a type of meat that comes from purebred black pigs raised naturally in Spain.
Many people believe that diners coming here do not only pay for a plate of rice, but also for the space and experience. The restaurant is located on the 66th floor, allowing diners to take in panoramic views of the city from above.
This point is commented by some people as a “balancing” factor for the price. “If we only compare it with street-side rib rice, it is lame. Here, you eat in a luxurious space, receive professional service, and enjoy the view of the city. Its value does not lie in a simple plate of rice,” one person commented.
