From April 27 to 30, nearly 8,000 tourists visited Cu Lao Cham Island for sightseeing and accommodation. Tourists visited places such as Bai Lang Village, Ong Beach, and Xep Beach. Tourists experienced scuba diving to see coral and enjoyed local seafood dishes. Many tourists visited the island and returned within the day, while some stayed for a long time on the island.
Since the beginning of the year, Hoi An city, Quang Nam province has always been crowded with domestic and foreign tourists coming to visit and stay. During the recent holidays, the ancient town of Hoi An welcomed tens of thousands of tourists every day. In addition to familiar tourist attractions in the old town such as the Japanese Covered Bridge, the Fujian Assembly Hall, ancient houses, etc., tourists also come to visit and experience tourist attractions in the buffer zone and the Hoi An sea area. The weather is hot in the last days of April, An Bang beach, Cam An ward, about 5km from the center of Hoi An city, is crowded with tourists coming to swim and cool off.
Mr. Nguyen Van Lanh - Vice Chairman of Hoi An City People's Committee said that the city government is taking many positive actions to turn Hoi An into a national sea and island tourism area: "The potential and strength of Hoi An sea is the connection between the sea and the island with many ecological values, biodiversity and especially cultural values. This place is planned as one of the 9 national sea and island tourism areas. Currently, the city is trying very hard to apply the policies of the province and the Central Government to fully exploit the potential and strength of sea and island tourism".
