From early morning, the area around Saigon Zoo and Botanical Gardens becomes bustling with many people coming to enjoy the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day. This is an ideal destination to relax and enjoy the fresh air. The Zoo and Botanical Gardens not only attracts tourists with its natural landscape but also stands out with its biodiversity, attracting thousands of people during the holidays.

At around 9am, the area around the gates of the Zoo was packed with people lining up to buy tickets to enter. The main gate of the Zoo had to increase staff and open more gates to sell tickets faster. All morning, the staff worked tirelessly, continuously guiding people to line up to buy tickets. However, due to the large number of people, it took 20-30 minutes to buy tickets to enter. The situation was similar at the side gate on Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City).

The area in front of the ticket gate is always packed with people waiting to get in.

The inside of the zoo is equally crowded. The most crowded area is the elephant enclosure. This is where many people gather to watch the elephants. Children brought here by their parents are excited and constantly interact with the elephants by feeding them sugar cane. The area with monkeys, deer, hippos, etc. is also crowded.

Meanwhile, many families come here to set up tents and picnic. Most of them gather under the big trees, which provide a cool space to rest and relax.

Mr. Nguyen Trong Nhan (residing in District 6, Ho Chi Minh City) said that because this holiday is short, his family did not travel far and only decided to take his son to the Zoo for the day and then return. According to him, this place meets many criteria such as being close to nature, cool and economical at the present time.

"So this is the most suitable place for me to come here for the holidays. This place is also spacious and comfortable for my son to run around. In addition, I can watch animals, then go home and prepare for work tomorrow," Mr. Nhan shared.
