Ms. NTH (68 years old, Bien Hoa, Dong Nai ) confided that her younger sister had just passed away from breast cancer. Young woman Dieu Anh (21 years old, Dak Lak), currently studying Marketing at Van Lang University, confided: “My mother “sponsored” me for a general examination. When I was doing the procedure, the receptionist gave me a free breast examination voucher, so I went for the examination. I was very surprised and happy because I “saved” some money for my mother”.

I read in the newspaper that the rate of breast cancer is getting higher and higher, so I was very concerned,” she added.
Dr. Thuy Giang recommends that breast cancer is the most common cancer in Vietnamese women in general and in the world in particular. However, if detected early, the treatment efficiency can reach over 90%. Accordingly, women from 40 years old should be screened for breast disease once a year, younger women can be screened every 2-3 years.
