On June 28, Huong Tra Town Police, Thua Thien - Hue Province confirmed that they had just investigated and executed an arrest warrant for Ho Hai Quan (born 1990; residing in Huong Van Ward, Huong Tra Town) for robbery.

According to the initial investigation, on the morning of June 24, after buying pork from Ms. Dinh Thi Luu on National Highway 49, passing through Tan Tho village, Binh Thanh commune, Huong Tra town, Ho Hai Quan pretended to go see the forest in the surrounding area and then asked Ms. Luu about the boundaries of the land plots.
Taking advantage of the moment when Ms. Luu was not paying attention, Quan pushed her down into a nearby hole, used force to threaten her, then robbed 1 million VND and an iPhone 7, then escaped.
Immediately upon receiving the report from the people, Huong Tra Town Police quickly deployed forces to investigate, pursue and arrest Ho Hai Quan while he was hiding in Huong Van Ward, Huong Tra Town.
