Arrest of robbery suspect who then fled to Quang Ngai province

At around 6:30 p.m. on August 7, Ms. HTTT, born in 1987 in Sao Vang town, Tho Xuan district, was driving a motorbike from Lam Son town to Sao Vang town when suddenly a young man driving a motorbike in the same direction approached her and snatched her cell phone. After committing the crime, the subject quickly escaped from the scene.

Determining the seriousness of the case, the perpetrator's reckless and daring methods, causing panic among the people, Tho Xuan District Police quickly investigated, clarified and arrested the perpetrator.

Through professional measures and coordination of related units, by 2:00 p.m. on August 10, Tho Xuan District Police identified the perpetrator of the robbery as Dang Ky Quy, born in 1993 in Yen My Commune, Nong Cong District.

Continuing to investigate and verify, it was known that after committing the crime, the subject took a passenger bus to escape to Quang Ngai province. Through family and relatives, Tho Xuan District Police coordinated with Yen My Commune Police and Nong Cong District Police to persuade and call on the subject to surrender to enjoy leniency under the law.

At the investigation agency, suspect Dang Ky Quy confessed that because he needed money for personal expenses, he committed the above robbery.

Currently, Tho Xuan District Police have initiated a criminal case, prosecuted the accused and temporarily detained the subject for handling according to the provisions of law.
