The program aims to promote and mobilize all healthy people to actively participate in voluntary blood donation, form the habit of voluntary blood donation, provide enough blood for emergency and treatment of patients in the locality; ensure safe blood donation. Propaganda about the meaning and content of the Red Journey 2025 and the necessity of the voluntary blood donation movement; combine propaganda about Thalassemia, for a community without blood shortage. Practice organizing a Blood Donation Festival; receive large amounts of blood to prevent accidents and disasters, contributing to blood coordination nationwide.
At the same time, expand the subjects participating in voluntary blood donation; establish and support the development of models connecting blood donation volunteers and voluntary blood donors. Contributeto educating the younger generation about love for the community, knowing how to live for everyone; strive to contribute their youth to society. Enhance the role of the Red Cross and social organizations in mobilizing voluntary blood donation in the community.
The program plan will promote and advise over 5,000 people about voluntary blood donation and Thalassemia; mobilize over 2,000 people to register for voluntary blood donation. Organize the 13th Blood Donation Festival of the City of Flowers in Da Lat city to receive 1,000 units of blood, which will be received by the Blood Transfusion Center - Cho Ray Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City; blood donation festivals in response to the Red Journey in localities will receive over 1,500 units of blood.
Organize a mobile campaign on voluntary blood donation (twin bicycles, mobile cars and exchange and experience sharing activities). Mobilize 80 local volunteers to support activities during the Red Journey 2025. Train and improve the skills of propaganda, mobilization and procedures on voluntary blood donation for volunteers.
The main activities of the program include: Tandem bicycle decoration contest; organizing a loudspeaker vehicle to propagate; organizing visits and giving gifts to 30 patients at Lam Dong General Hospital. Opening the 13th Red Journey and honoring typical blood donors of Lam Dong province - 2025 on July 17, 2025 at Da Lat College. Organizing the 2025 Red Drops of Flower City Voluntary Blood Donation Festival by the medical staff of Cho Ray Blood Transfusion Center to receive blood on July 18, 2025 at Da Lat College. Summarizing, awarding Certificates and Certificates of Merit to Red Journey volunteers. Propaganda and mobilization activities to cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers, union members, youth at agencies, enterprises and people in Da Lat city to participate in voluntary blood donation.
