Vietnam and China football promote cooperation: VFF and CFA Presidents sign important agreements

On August 2, President of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) Tran Quoc Tuan left for China to prepare for the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the VFF and the Chinese Football Association (CFA).

As planned, the official signing ceremony will take place tomorrow (August 4) at CFA headquarters, with the participation of CFA President Song Kai, VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan and representatives of the two federations' leaders.

According to the memorandum of understanding, the two sides agreed to strengthen cooperation in the following areas: human resource exchange, organization of friendly matches between men's, women's, youth and futsal teams; coordination in organizing professional training courses and sharing experience in professional football management.

In addition, VFF and CFA also committed to promoting the relationship between V-League and Chinese Super League, as well as between futsal tournaments of the two countries.

The Vietnam U.23 team achieved a resounding success at the U.23 Southeast Asian tournament, thanks to good preparation from VFF. The team was sent to play a friendly match in China in March this year.

VFF and CFA strengthen cooperation

This working trip is an important milestone in the process of enhancing development cooperation between Vietnamese and Chinese football.

Previously, the Vietnamese national teams had many notable activities in China such as: U.22 Vietnam participated in the CFA Team China 2024 and 2025 friendly tournaments; U.16 Vietnam competed in an international tournament in Hohhot; the women's futsal team participated in the Asian finals and played a friendly match with the Chinese women's futsal team...

These activities clearly demonstrate the increasingly effective connection and cooperation between the two football teams, thereby also helping Vietnamese teams to have quality preparation before participating in official tournaments.
