Duy Tan University cooperates with Vietjet, Aviation Academy with internship and student exchange opportunities

Duy Tan University (DTU) and Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement on November 17, 2025, marking an important step in linking university training with the practice of Vietnam's aviation industry.

This cooperation activity was carried out after DTU signed agreements with Vietnam Aviation Academy on credit recognition, with Vietnam Airlines on internship opportunities, or with Chodang University (Korea) on aviation student exchange, forming a comprehensive "training - experience - recruitment" ecosystem, gradually building solid "flight routes" for Duy Tan University's aviation students.

Signing a strategic cooperation agreement with Vietjet not only opens up systematic training - practice - recruitment programs, but also gives "wings" to the dreams of DTU students to fly high with one of the leading airlines in Vietnam and the region.

Accordingly, Vietjet will accompany Duy Tan University to organize career orientation programs such as seminars, talkshows, and workshops specializing in Aviation - Tourism - Services. Duy Tan students will also have the opportunity to:

Vietjet will also participate in training, guest lectures, and professional training, and coordinate with Duy Tan University to carry out scientific research activities, share data, and implement corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs in the fields of Aviation and Tourism.

Immediately after signing the agreement, Vietjet launched the Recruitment Day for the Central region on November 29, 2025. Duy Tan students had an extremely interesting and rewarding day when they fully experienced the professional flight attendant selection process. From the stage of checking documents, measuring height - BMI, "catwalk" combined with appearance assessment to the direct interview round with the selection board... all were implemented in a professional process, helping students grasp and better understand the practical requirements of the industry.

In addition to observing the selection rounds and participating in the actual BMI index selection round, Duy Tan students also listened to the sharing about the job of a flight attendant, a position that requires a high sense of responsibility, the ability to handle many situations, communication skills and a professional demeanor to ensure safety and bring the best experience to passengers on each flight.

A notable milestone worth mentioning is the signing of a joint cooperation agreement between Duy Tan University and Vietnam Aviation Academy on August 2, 2024.

The signing of the two units focuses on the fields of training, credit recognition, human resource training, scientific research - technology transfer. In addition, Duy Tan University and Vietnam Aviation Academy also cooperate to promote the startup and innovation ecosystem, creating a solid foundation for developing initiatives, contributing to the development of the aviation industry and related economic fields. Students also have access to the latest knowledge, have more opportunities to practice to improve their skills in a professional, dynamic environment to be ready to face new challenges of the aviation industry.

Diverse internship and international student exchange programs

The exchange semester in Korea is a training program that many students of the Tourism Management & Aviation Services Department of the School of Tourism (HTi), Duy Tan University are participating in. This is a strategic training program and approaches international standards through the cooperation between Duy Tan University and Chodang University, Korea.

The program is implemented to provide students with the opportunity to access advanced foreign education, in-depth knowledge and many professional skills to improve their career competitiveness in the global labor market.

To date, Duy Tan University students have participated in 3 courses (in 2023, 2024, 2025) of the Exchange Semester program through cooperation with Chodang University, Korea. Here, Duy Tan University students have access to many important professional practice contents, including:

• The art of makeup
• Building appearance
• Communications operations
• English in the aviation industry

In addition, each student of Duy Tan University is also connected with a Korean Aviation student - a companion and supporter in solving problems of studying and daily life in the land of "kimchi", on the basis of using daily English and aviation English.

In addition to the useful knowledge and practice gained during the course at Chodang University, Duy Tan students are exempted from 100% of tuition fees when studying here. After completing the exchange semester in Korea, 15 credits of subjects at Chodang University will be transferred to Duy Tan University students. This not only helps students ensure their study time as previously scheduled but also opens up opportunities to experience an international academic environment, enhancing the value of their degrees upon graduation.

Along with the exchange semester in Korea, Duy Tan students now have the opportunity to participate in an internship at Vietnam Airlines. As employees of Vietnam Airlines, many students majoring in Tourism Management & Aviation Services directly participate in supporting customers in many tasks such as: guiding customers to scan QR codes, registering to join the Lotusmiles membership program, filling in personal information and answering questions about the outstanding benefits that members can receive...
