Over 98% of students from the Bachelor's Degree Program are employed

On the evening of December 6, the International Training Institute - Academy of Finance held a ceremony to celebrate its 15th anniversary (2010-2025).

The event marks the journey of building, developing and deeply integrating, contributing to bringing Vietnamese financial and economic education closer to international standards.

Since its establishment under Decision No. 3207/QD-BTC dated December 7, 2010, the International Training Institute has become an important bridge between the Academy of Finance and prestigious universities around the world .

Based on the Academy's traditional training and research foundation, the Institute undertakes two key missions: training high-quality human resources and expanding international educational cooperation, creating modern learning opportunities for domestic students.

Dr. Trinh Thanh Huyen - Director of the International Training Institute - said that the milestone that created a turning point for the Institute started in 2016 when the joint training program with each side granting a Bachelor's degree - DDP (Dual Degree Programme) - was officially launched.

This is a university training model with strong integration, jointly awarded degrees by the Academy of Finance and the University of Greenwich (UK) to students upon graduation.

Not only does the DDP program offer the opportunity to obtain two international bachelor degrees right in Vietnam, it is also recognized by ACCA Global as exempting students from studying and taking all 9 F subjects (F1-F9) in the prestigious ACCA vocational certification system. This is a prominent competitive advantage, expanding career opportunities in the fields of accounting, auditing and finance.

With a system of bachelor and master programs designed according to international standards, the International Training Institute is gradually creating a value chain of university-postgraduate training right in Vietnam. The concept of “global citizen” has been realized through a learning environment rich in connectivity, multiculturalism and integration.

According to Dr. Trinh Thanh Huyen, by 2025, the Institute has successfully enrolled 21 Master of Finance and Investment (MSc) courses with nearly 500 students; 10 Bachelor of DDP courses with more than 1,000 students.

The employment rate of DDP students is over 98%, of which about 10% work in government agencies; 35% work at Big4 auditors. If including Big4 banks and large corporations, this number is up to nearly 65%. “These figures are clear evidence of the training quality and social trust in the International Training Institute” - Dr. Trinh Thanh Huyen emphasized.

Not only outstanding in academic quality, the student environment of the DDP program also leaves its mark with 6 student clubs and a dynamic and creative Media Ambassador Team. Many academic - cultural - social activities are organized regularly, creating a very unique style with the spirit of "DDP - Be the Best".

After 15 years of development and growth, the International Training Institute (Academy of Finance) has affirmed its pioneering role in international educational cooperation and integration. Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Dao Tung - Director of the Academy of Finance - noted that 5-7 years ago, many international cooperation procedures were still complicated and not operating smoothly. Up to now, we have built a stable and effective "operating machine", affirming that international joint program students not only integrate well into the global learning environment but also spread Vietnamese cultural values naturally and confidently.

In the context of increasing student numbers, international partners have expressed their desire to expand new majors and programs with the Academy of Finance – a signal of strong confidence in the quality of training.

With the achievements, the International Training Institute and the Academy of Finance are continuing to write the journey of "Building value - Creating the future", contributing to the process of improving the financial and economic human resources of Vietnam in the integration era.
