Academy of Finance enrolls students for distance learning program in Finance and Banking

GD&TĐ - The Academy of Finance has just announced enrollment for the 2025 university-level distance learning program in Finance - Banking.

Candidates are determined at the time of admission to include: People who have been recognized as graduates of high school, college, university in Vietnam or have a foreign diploma recognized as equivalent; people who have a vocational secondary school diploma in the same field of study as the applicant and have completed the required amount of high school level cultural knowledge as prescribed by law.

Candidates must be healthy enough to study according to current regulations and not be under criminal prosecution. For foreign citizens, they must ensure Vietnamese language proficiency as prescribed in Article 6 of Circular No. 30/2018/TT-BGDDT dated December 24, 2018 regulating the management of foreigners studying in Vietnam.

Candidates who graduate from high school or intermediate level will study a 4-year training program.

Candidates who graduate from college with the right major of the Academy will study a 2-year training program.

Candidates who graduate from college in the economic group but not in the Academy's recruiting major will study the 2.5-year training program.

Candidates who graduate from university with the same or similar major as the Academy's admission major will study a 2-year training program (1st degree training major in the economic sector: Finance - Banking - Insurance, Accounting - Auditing, Business Administration, Economics, Management Information Systems).

Candidates graduating from university in other majors will study a 2.5-year training program.

Candidates who have graduated from colleges and universities abroad must have their diplomas recognized according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training . Candidates in this category also study according to the corresponding training program as above.

In addition, students can take advanced courses to shorten the study time according to the credit system training regulations.

The Academy of Finance will consider admission based on application documents (no entrance exam) with 3 methods:

Direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training: Subjects eligible for direct admission according to regulations in the current regulations on regular university admission.

Admission is based on academic performance in previous or equivalent levels.

For candidates with college or university degrees: The admission score is the cumulative average score at college or university level plus priority points for the candidate (if any) according to current admission regulations. The admission score is taken to 2 decimal places, from high to low until the quota of the admission industry is met.

The learning method is not centralized, lecturers guide students to self-study through the learning management system. The exam format is organized flexibly depending on the actual situation. The university distance learning program follows the credit system.

Successful candidates are trained and have accumulated enough credits according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and are awarded a bachelor's degree in economics. The graduation certificate does not distinguish between distance learning and other forms of training. After graduation, students are allowed to register for exams or apply for admission to study at higher levels such as master's and doctoral degrees.
