Ms. Le Thi Phuong Thuy - Member of the Party Committee Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward; Mr. Do Ngoc Hiep - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward, Chairman of the Farmers' Association of the ward co-chaired the conference.
At the conference, the representative of the Standing Committee of the Ward People's Council presented the expected structure, composition, and allocation of the number of people recommended to run for the Ward People's Council delegates for the 2nd term, 2026-2031 term.
Accordingly, the total number of elected ward People's Council delegates for the 2026-2031 term is 29 delegates from 47 candidates.
Regarding structure and composition, the Party bloc has 4 candidates (8.5%); the Ward People's Council bloc has 3 candidates (6.4%); the Ward People's Committee bloc has 3 candidates (6.4%); the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations have 7 candidates (14.9%); the armed forces bloc has 4 candidates (8.5%); the public service unit bloc has 2 candidates (4.3%); the religious bloc has 1 candidate (2.1%); the business bloc has 1 candidate (2.1%); the residential group and village bloc has 22 candidates (46.8%).
The conference discussed, voted, and reached 100% consensus on the structure, composition, and number of candidates nominated for the Pleiku Ward People's Council, term II, 2026-2031.
The first consultation conference took place seriously, democratically and in accordance with regulations, which was an important first step for the next consultation rounds, contributing to good preparation for the election of Pleiku Ward People's Council delegates, term II, 2026-2031.
