18 Vietnamese noodle dishes are on the list of the world's best.

(GLO) - Taste Atlas has just honored the 100 best noodle dishes in the world, with Vietnam contributing 18 dishes, the second highest number after Japan.

Vietnamese noodle dishes are quite diverse, ranging from dry to soup-based, with a wide variety of ingredients and many appealing and delicious preparation methods. Eighteen representatives were honored, including many versions of pho such as rare beef, chicken, vegetarian, mixed, and stir-fried.

Noodle dishes are also abundant, including bun cha, bun rieu, bun dau mam tom, bun thit nuong, bun mang vit, and bun bo Nam Bo. The list also includes specialties such as mi Quang, cao lau, banh canh, hu tieu, and banh da cua.

Japan leads with 26 dishes on the list, with ramen noodles in various versions such as Yokohama ramen (ranked 1st), Tonkotsu, Miso, Shoyu, Shio, and Hakata occupying most of the top positions. China has 10 dishes, and the rest are from countries such as South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, etc.

The list of "100 best noodle dishes in the world," as of December 4th, has 14,405 recorded reviews, of which 10,998 are valid.
