According to Mr. Mac Quoc Anh, Vice President and General Secretary of Hanoisme, after 30 years of establishment and development, Hanoisme has become a prestigious organization, accompanying and supporting businesses in the process of sustainable development, economic integration and improving competitiveness. From the early days of establishment with a modest number of members, up to now, the Association has expanded its scale with more than 11,000 members, 28 district clubs, 4 clubs in Ho Chi Minh City, and 5 representative offices in the US, Japan, Austria, Singapore and the Czech Republic, contributing significantly to the socio-economic development of the capital and the country.
Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan awarded the First Class Labor Medal to the leaders of Hanoisme.
As a bridge between businesses and state management agencies, the Association has actively participated in proposing policies, organizing business support programs, promoting connections and cooperation within the business community. This success has an important contribution from the private economic sector.
With nearly 1 million enterprises and about 5 million individual business households, the private economic sector currently contributes about 51% of GDP, more than 30% of the State budget, creates more than 40 million jobs, accounts for more than 82% of the total labor force in the economy, and contributes nearly 60% of total social investment capital.
According to Mr. Mac Quoc Anh, the past 3 decades have been a challenging but proud journey. Hanoisme is not only a common home for small and medium enterprises, but also a pioneer in connecting, supporting and promoting business innovation, enhancing competitiveness, helping businesses gradually reach regional and international markets. Throughout the development process, the Association has provided policy advice, organized specialized training courses, connected trade, provided financial and legal support, helping businesses adapt to market changes and develop sustainably.
“On this occasion, the small and medium-sized enterprise community in Hanoi welcomed Resolution 68-NQ/TW with enthusiasm and confidence because for the first time the Party and State have established the private sector as the “most important driving force” of the Vietnamese economy. According to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, this is one of the “Quad of Strategies” institutionalizing, concretizing, and effectively implementing the Politburo’s Resolutions, including: Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation, and national digital transformation; Resolution No. 59-NQ/TW on international integration; Resolution No. 66-NQ/TW on innovation in law-making and enforcement,” said Mr. Mac Quoc Anh.
Mr. Hoang Quang Phong, Vice President of the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), commented: Since its establishment, the Hanoi Association of Small and Medium Enterprises has become a close friend, understanding what businesses want, need, and face, and finding solutions to support businesses. The Association has many programs to support businesses such as: Accessing digital transformation, supporting the enhancement of competitiveness through innovation, training to support startups, and corporate governance; proposing many recommendations to support businesses in promoting production and business.
“VCCI recognizes and highly appreciates the contributions of the Hanoi Association of Small and Medium Enterprises to the business community. From now until 2030, with the support of VCCI and the continuous efforts of entrepreneurs, it is expected that the business community will make breakthroughs, taking advantage of opportunities from international economic integration and the 4.0 industrial revolution,” said Mr. Hoang Quang Phong.
The highlight of the program is the honoring of 30 Outstanding Brands - Mac Dinh Chi Award - No. 1 Brand. This is an event to honor businesses with outstanding achievements in production and business activities, innovation, social responsibility and digital transformation; to give worthy recognition to pioneering brands, creating motivation for the business community to continue to develop strongly, contributing to building a strong Vietnamese economy in the period of international integration.
