Mr. Nguyen Van Chinh, residing in Bung village, is one of the members of the An Duong Aquaculture Cooperative participating in the intensive aquaculture and product consumption linkage model implemented by the Provincial Department of Livestock, Veterinary and Fisheries since March 2025, covering an area of 1 hectare. Upon joining the model, Mr. Chinh received training and technology transfer on intensive farming of monosex tilapia combined with carp and grass carp according to the following stocking ratio and structure: 60% tilapia, 20% carp, and 20% grass carp. In addition, he received financial support for purchasing tilapia fingerlings and signed a product purchase contract with a stable price.

Since joining the production linkage model, thanks to the rational adjustment of fish species structure, the application of measures to protect the pond environment, disease prevention and treatment for fish, and balancing the amount of feed corresponding to each growth and development stage of the fish, the farming time has been shortened, and productivity and output have been higher. Specifically, after about 6-8 months of farming, his pond area achieved a yield of 30 tons of fish, including 13 tons of tilapia, 13 tons of grass carp, and 6 tons of common carp, with revenue reaching approximately 900 million VND, and after deducting expenses, the profit was about 150 million VND.
It is known that, starting in March 2025, the An Duong Aquaculture Cooperative, with 8 members, received support from the Provincial Department of Livestock, Veterinary and Fisheries to participate in a model of intensive fish farming and product consumption on a scale of 7 hectares. Actual production shows that fish raised under this collaborative model grow and develop very well because they adhere strictly to technical procedures from stocking, feeding, and disease prevention; the productivity and yield of fish at the cooperative members' households participating in the collaborative model have increased by about 20-30% compared to before; the farming time has been shortened from 1 year to 6-8 months, allowing households to be more proactive in managing their farming seasons and increasing the number of farming cycles per year.
According to Mr. Do Huy Khoi, Deputy Head of the Department of Livestock, Veterinary and Fisheries of the province, the model of intensive aquaculture farming and product consumption implemented at An Duong Aquaculture Cooperative not only helps increase production and improve the quality of various fish species but also helps cooperative members optimize production costs, ensure stable output, and expand the market for their products.
