Trips that are not constrained by packed itineraries, allowing you to immerse yourself in nature and discover new and exciting things at your destination... have become a popular travel trend among young people. Posts about these trips on social media often attract a large number of views and spark curiosity about destinations that might otherwise seem all too familiar.
The travel adventures in Thanh Hoa province shared on Ms. Vuong Hien Luong's personal Facebook page have attracted the attention of many young people.
As one of the passionate travelers exploring Thanh Hoa province, Ms. Vuong Hien Luong (Thanh Hoa City) regularly shares interesting articles and photos about various destinations on her personal Facebook page. Notably, many of her posts about familiar destinations in the province, such as Ben En National Park (Nhu Thanh); Le Hoan Temple and Lam Kinh Historical Site (Tho Xuan); Hai Tien Beach (Hoang Hoa); Bai Dong Beach (Nghi Son town)... with fresh perspectives and creative approaches, have attracted a large number of viewers and shares, inspiring many to "pack their bags and go."
Ms. Luong shared: “Traveling is both my job and my passion. Each trip helps me discover many interesting things about tourism in Thanh Hoa. At each destination, whether it's beach tourism, eco-tourism, or historical sites, there are spaces for young people to unleash their creativity and explore. My motivation to always want to explore and share my interesting trips is being accompanied by friends who share the same passion. We explore destinations according to our interests and are not constrained by a packed itinerary. Before each trip, we always take time to research the places we visit, plan the route, set up creative and unique photo backdrops, and most importantly, create something that attracts viewers.”
According to Ms. Luong, the group's exploratory trips not only yielded many beautiful photos but also fueled a passion for travel among young people through valuable knowledge about the land and people of Thanh Hoa province. Many posts published on her personal Facebook page and those of some group members received significant attention, comments, and shares. Among them, many young people commented, asking for information about destinations, itineraries, and travel tips to make their trips more meaningful.
"In each article, I not only want to share about my trip but also want to spread the message 'Thanh Hoa Tourism - The Beauty of Four Seasons' and the unique charm of each tourist destination in the province to young people," Ms. Luong shared.
Trinh Khanh Linh, a student at Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism, is someone who enjoys traveling, inspired by popular "where to go, what to eat" reviews on social media. According to Khanh Linh, with limited finances, she and her friends often choose to travel to destinations within the province that have received many positive reviews on social media. Based on her own travel experience, Khanh Linh believes: “When traveling based on reviews, it's best to thoroughly research information, images, and comments under each article about the destination. In particular, you should consult reputable social media sources. From there, analyze whether the destination truly suits your preferences and needs and design a suitable itinerary. The 'effect' of traveling based on beautiful photos and good service quality has attracted many young people. However, it's also important to pay attention to safety conditions for each trip and thoroughly research the rules and regulations of the destination.”
While social media may be virtual, the appeal and tourism impact of destinations, as conveyed through posts and images by some young people online, is undeniable. Many tourists say they decided to visit Thanh Hoa after being inspired by travel reviews. Therefore, in recent years, some resorts and food and accommodation businesses in the province have not hesitated to spend a considerable amount of money to hire popular TikTokers and bloggers to review their services and promote the destination on their personal pages, attracting thousands, even millions, of views and shares.
However, alongside genuine travel reviews, there are still instances of exaggerated service descriptions and inaccurate images of destinations. Therefore, to have a truly meaningful trip, each traveler needs to be cautious in researching information, should read different reviews, or seek advice from reputable travel agencies, especially during the upcoming peak travel season.
