Coach Osmar Loss commented on the first leg of the final: "The lineup of Hanoi Police Club has not changed much compared to the first match we met them in the group stage, only 2-3 positions are different. Their players understand each other very well, are confident in tight spaces and move very well.

Buriram players have to move their defense faster and press harder. When playing at home, we need to make the most of that advantage to win. We have analyzed our opponents very carefully and hope to achieve our goal in the second leg.

Coach Polking and his team have certainly analysed us. This season, we have played 60 official matches, so it is understandable that we are being studied. We can change players, but not the philosophy.

Today, we were forced to make changes because we could not develop the ball under strong pressure. However, taking Theerathon off early was not for tactical reasons. He has just returned from an injury for 3 months, so we want to control the playing time to avoid the risk of a relapse."
